Don’t extend US unemployment benefits

As the Republicans have said, the bill would extend unemployment benefits to those states which still have low unemployment statistics.

Funny Republicans! You’d think they’d come up with a better excuse. Seems they’ve got ‘unemployment’ down pat, it’s the ‘benefits’ they’re short of where the People are concerned.

If there are states in which the rates are still low, no one will need to apply for their unemployment insurance–and if one or two citizens of such exalted states (wherever these utopias may be located) Should Lose a Job, they’ll find a new hot happenin’ well-paying job without batting an eyelash, what with conditions being so peachy and all.
