It’s all about keeping law and order, you see, and the dangers of abusing or misusing authority.

Anyway, one conspiracy-type tidbit of info I was unaware of when I wrote the above post concerning the tragedy in Oklahoma City is that 10N happens to be the Pre-Natal Eclipse Series of the secretive, lap-of-luxury Bilderberg Group which officially organized into a cabal of movers-n-shakers during May 29 — 31, 1954. You remember them–the ones who met in Chantilly, Virginia in June 2012 just as they did in June 2008 when then-candidates Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton left their campaign trails to join the meeting. 

And then-Senator Obama emerged as the Bilderberg Choice for US president 2008…and Hillary Rodham Clinton stepped aside.

GA voter chooses Democrat Jim Martin

Well, I’ve just returned from the polling place where poll workers tell me they’ve had a ‘steady stream’ of ballot casters all through the day – more than expected.

Now if I can only trust the electronic voting machine to do the right thing and not use some of that squirrelly math they’re so fond of in Washington, I may find that other voters agree with me – that a vote for Saxby Chambliss is same as a pat on Karl Rove’s back and that is NOT happening here.

Palin in Georgia today – the state, not the country

This morning Sara Palin stumped for Republican Senator Saxby Chambliss in Augusta, Georgia. Apparently someone clued her in that she was to report to the state to fight the Democrats, not the country to fight Russians.

That detail taken care of, Governor Palin was greeted with what may be described as a ‘rock star reception’ and asserted that “this win in Georgia is the first step to rebuilding the party.”

Whoaaa, that’s a big first step, baby. Especially since your fella Saxby only mustered a run-off in a Republican-infested state! If Chambliss does pull it off, it will be because of Palin’s stimulating ‘you-betchas’ blended with a little e-tampering after supper.

So with the run-off vote being held tomorrow, Palin will make three more stops in Georgia today before (they tell her) she’s done firing up the base.

‘First Step’ – or Gridlock?

Now I know a 60-seat majority in Congress is to be feared by many people on all sides. It could, however, be what America needs to get things going, modified, and instituted toward refurbishing our nation. That’s IF Barack Obama is on the side of the middle class, as he purports to be, and if he receives some decent amount of cooperation from Washington politicians who always keep their eyes on their own main chances.

Otherwise, a Chambliss win in Georgia may throw more fuel on Washington’s gridlock fire which will then grump-up the American people at more of Capitol Hill’s sorry grand-standing ways. A dilemma!

Even so, my feelings and thoughts remain the same about tomorrow’s run-off vote…a vote for Saxby Chambliss is a pat on the backs of Rove, Cheney, and Bush. And that is NOT going to happen…not then, not now, not ever.

All through the weekend I received calls from Dem volunteers, plus a robo-call from the Republicans for Chambliss campaign. Today I received my first robo-call from Barack Obama asking me to vote for Democrat Jim Martin. He won’t have to robo-call me twice. He probably will – but he won’t have to.

Did you vote for George Bush? Just wonderin’ since he’d never succeeded at any business venture before 2000 and look at him now – bailed out by US taxpayers again.

Of course, conspiracy theorists think this economic collapse is part of the one-world-government plans that were put in place decades ago. Or centuries ago if you subscribe to the Great Seal’s reverse-with-its-all-seeing-eye theory.

Watching Bush, Cheney, Greenspan, and now Bernanke and Paulson in action, I find it difficult to discount the conspiracy theory that they know what they’re doing and that the economic, governmental, and social net failures of America were on the menu all along.

If so, these social tinkerers think that the chaos they are creating is “worth it” especially since they will never suffer as will we, and that their longed-for New World Order is only possible by destructuring society’s systems to make way for for a new start.

Pluto in Capricorn.

You know I still use Bush’s first Inaugural chart 2001 to represent all of his tenure with its 8th house (debt, credit, insurance, finance, shared resources, death, transformation, etc) full of Pluto and Chiron snugged around the Moon in Sagittarius…the People, crowded by the violent and oppressive corporatism/fascism pair, Pluto/Chiron. Its ‘too close for comfort’ flavor is out in the open now, isn’t it? Too late, the trap is sprung!

So my facetious “thanks” goes out to all who voted for George Bush. Now will you compound the issue and give Bush a vote of “confidence” by voting for John McCain? Pluto may be in Capricorn but we don’t have to hand them our heads on plates. Actually we already did that in 2000 and again in 2004. Yeeks. And we couldn’t even get Bush-Cheney impeached to show our displeasure!

But it’s 2008, and as I always say: a vote for John McCain is like a vote for Karl Rove – and that most definitely includes Sarah Palin, the lure. The Angler has spoken (aka Cheney, who must be quite smitten with Palin.)

So even if Barack Obama moves into the White House, his opponents ‘have ways’ and have shown themselves capable of ANYTHING to keep their grasp on power and their agenda on track.

Another option is that Obama plays the game their way and the American people are still in the soup. Rise up? Laws are in place to tamp us down. They call it ‘martial law’ but by then most people will realize what it really is – if they don’t already. Perhaps we’ll be too cowed and hungry to murmur our disapproval. “A hungry man is not a free man.” I disremember who said it, but it’s all too true.

Woo! After seeing the lovely and hilarious Craig Ferguson in concert last evening, you’d think I’d be in a lilting mood today. But one quick look at this morning’s news and the Craig glow fades all too soon…just a glance at the latest doings of those cheeky monkeys of Washington who are ruining our children’s and grandchildren’s lives puts me back in my political snit of miffdom all over again.

Even McCain’s biographer turns away

Elizabeth Drew, author of 2002’s ‘Citizen McCain’, a glowing tribute to a ‘principled, honorable man of conscience’, has left the Straight Talk Express, as it careens off Ambition’s Highway:

Drew has joined a lengthening list of former McCain supporters and hero worshippers who have awakened to this ambitious man’s shift to the hard right as he panders his way to the White House.

That’s the script anyway.

Although who could forget McCain and Bush cutting birthday cake so happily together as New Orleans drowned, just two Republican buddies livin’ large knowing that the 2008 fix would be in and the Bush Doctrine – whatever version you prefer – would roll merrily along while Bush kicked back on his porch in Paraguay.

And that’s my fret – that no one’s approbation, change of heart, or vote matters because it’s “in the bag” as George said to Jeb 8 years ago. Then, SCOTUS informed us that it was, and now in 2008, the US citizenry are left holding it once again. But this time, it’s quite empty – like John McCain’s vacant conscience and Wall Street’s long-compromised integrity.

Obama-Biden or McCain-Palin?

In a Freudian typo-slip, the title of this post was about to be ‘Obama-Biden or Palin-McCain?’ but it may not matter much longer according to an excellent post-with-predictions on the outcome of the November presidential election which Nancy has written at Starlight News:

McCain’s Palin ‘bump’ may be fading soon, and as many astrologers have observed before: John McCain’s health really IS an issue with transit Saturn opposite natal Saturn (in his 6th house of Health) on the menu.

If That transit doesn’t have health implications for a previous cancer patient of his advanced years, I’ll have to eat my ephemeris, won’t I? And of course, Saturn rules skin, and the August 1 Solar Eclipse is in McCain’s Pre-natal Eclipse Series making this a banner year for him in one way or another.

Eclipses, if they ‘bring’ anything at all, usually bring to light what one least expects so it’s impossible to pre-judge how they will act upon a native, but given McCain’s prominence within the collective, I should expect that “his” Eclipse will manifest noticeably as an event or events.

Then there’s Barack Obama:

One thing about Obama’s campaign that I’ve not had time to delve into as I’d like this week is his recent trip to Iraq and the hay the GOP will be making of it – whether they spin it out of whack or not, apparently Senator Obama ‘had speaks’ about a troop withdrawal date (and postponing it until the new administration comes in), which gives the Rovians lots of ammunition to manipulate into a big political problem for the Democratic candidate – even if he was well-intentioned.

Plus, tonight I’m officially in count down mode because this Friday evening is the Craig Ferguson comedy performance we’ve been pining for and I can hardly wait.

You’ve probably heard by now that Craig was feeling unwell and had to visit his doctor the other day and he’s been diagnosed with…..election fever!

Oh, and Happy 221st birthday to the US Constitution today! You’re a little gray around the muzzle and under constant attack – in shreds actually – but the majority of we-the-people still love ya!

Wednesday, Sept 17 was marked by a ceremony at Montpelier, home of the Architect of the Constitution (and the Bill of Rights), President James Madison, because the renovations have been completed returning Montpelier to its original state and size.

The du Pont family’s wings have been removed reducing the house’s size from 36,000 square feet to 12,261 square feet. ‘Madison’s Temple’ is still on the premises, of course.

In attendance were Jim Lehrer and Chief Justice John Roberts, some muckety-muck politicians, along with Madison’s descendants, and descendants of the slaves he kept. With Madison elected president in 1809, the plantation has been restored to the time period 1809 – 1836, the year of his death.
