And speaking of income inequality and such economic topics of a plutocracy persuasion, here’s a shout-out to 100 years ago, the year 1911, when the Carnegie Trust Company of New York was closed by banking authorities.

Actually, 1911 was a watershed year of transformation for Standard Oil and other monopoly break-ups, plus, it’s the first year that sales of gasoline outsold kerosene in the US.

Here are a few basic details on the Solar Eclipses of 1911–the 3 North Saros Series, and 3 South–which both repeated in 2001. Paraphrasing Bernadette Brady’s Predictive Astrology:

Senator Bernie Sanders downgrades S&P

Though you’ve probably heard or read this quote before today concerning Friday’s S&P downgrade of America’s credit rating to AA+, I wanted to post it somewhere and since I’ve already published this morning to my Political Astrology site Stats Over Washington, it fits here snugly. Plus, this way I can find it easily whenever I want since truth coming out of Washington DC is often sparse and far between:

Where were they four years ago when they, and other credit rating agencies, helped cause this horrendous recession by providing AAA ratings to worthless sub-prime mortgage securities on behalf of Wall Street investment firms? Yes, where were S&P and other credit raters as they played their role in the engineered, well-timed, long-planned Financial Collapse 2008? To the senator’s words I must add a hearty Amen!

Murdoch shuts down tabloid amid scandal

NPR BREAKING NEWS: News of the World Shutting Down Amid Scandal

News International says it is shutting down the ‘News of the World’ tabloid at the center of phone hacking scandal. James Murdoch, who heads the newspaper’s European operations, says the 168-year-old newspaper will publish its last edition Sunday. The scandal has cost the paper prestige and advertisers.

Austerity of a New World Order

Considering the human toll from recent austerity measures, government take-overs by the world banking syndicate, dire weather events, radiating nuclear plant abominations, and other difficult circumstances going on across the globe in 2011, I think of the presidential days of George H. W. Bush, who had his power elite finger on the pulse of that long-planned totalitarianism vision now being forced austerely into place:

“If we do not follow the dictates of our inner moral compass and stand up for human life, then (t)his lawlessness will threaten the peace and democracy of the emerging new world order we now see, this long dreamed-of vision we’ve all worked toward for so long.”

The satanically minded like to ‘flip’ concepts (black is white, up is down, etc) so you notice that he framed acceptance of his NWO “vision” (Bacon’s Great Plan for America, or a cynical perversion of it) as following the “dictates of our moral compass” as if no one has noticed that these global take-over artists have no moral compasses to follow!

His “stand (ing) up for human life” would be hilarious if it weren’t so tragic. Bombing women and children to ‘bring peace and democracy’ to other nations could not possibly be considered an ‘exalted’ motivation at this late date.

Could it?

Perhaps Bush and his cronies have more US soldiers to evict from their homes upon their return from this unholy ‘NWO war’ along with the many other challenges that soldiers returning from war must face.

Obama to G20 Summit – Sun to US Jupiter June 26, 2010

Today the G20 Summit in Toronto is well underway after this morning’s Lunar Eclipse 4Cap46 conjunct powerful, secretive, wealthy Pluto Rx in controlling, managing, restrictive Capricorn, the sign ruled by Saturn, planet of government, law, and business.

The horoscope for the June 26, 2010 Lunar Eclipse is almost identical when set for Toronto as when set for Washington, DC with both locations using EDT.

Yet there formed a YOD in Toronto which was not apparent in DC, plus, evaluating Venus turned up in 1st house in Toronto, 2nd house in DC. Money matters are obviously big on the agenda this weekend though we don’t need Astrology to tell us that!

And with the Sun in a mundane chart signifying ‘the leader’, we may expect that President Obama’s attendance at the Summit will be described in part by the one-day transit of Sun to US natal Jupiter 5Can56 (‘6Can’ = “Game Birds Feathering Their Nests”; astrological Jupiter on various levels is the planet of big money, ideals, philosophy, optimism, travel, knowledge, expansion, and generosity.

Sun to Jupiter indicates an increase in said optimism along with an enhanced spiritual awareness; cultural events are successful and enjoyable, especially if you’re the President of the United States who is in progress of ramming through major financial reform legislation at home and can travel to another country and crow over it at a G20 Summit!

Dramatic hopefulness is the tone of the day with Sun to natal Jupiter, and courage and confidence are increased, but with one caution against becoming too impressed with oneself since Sun also represents ego and Jupiter tends to over-inflate.

Jupiter also has connections to judicial systems with intellectual horizons broadened on such issues as law and the areas mentioned above.

So even when circumstances turn troubling, a Sun to Jupiter transit has a way of providing something positive to counteract problems and lessen their negative effects.

Well, Happy Jupiterian Summit, Mr. President!

And I hope your financial reform bill does the good you say it will do, protects consumers for a change, and doesn’t make things worse with its costs to the financial industry passed on to US consumers.

US Unemployment rate remains same @ 9.7%

Now we all know of Washington’s fuzzy math tendencies but perhaps there’s something just released that offers some small encouragement:

U.S. employers cut a smaller than expected 36,000 jobs in February, leaving the unemployment rate unchanged at 9.7 percent, according to a government report on Friday which said it was unclear how severe weather had impacted payrolls.

Housing activity, money growth, and other leading indicators show that the recession in the US is over.

Everything is “getting less bad,” some say (if you can trust their numbers!)

If so, recovery will begin shortly, so I’m waiting…waiting…

The fleecing of America continues

Emily Spence gives her thoughts on The Continued Fleecing of America by the Financial Elites and I heartily agree with her.

One crazy thing is that, like Gov Mark Sanford (comparing himself, his sins, and his right to divine rule to King David) the global financial elites assume themselves ‘above’ the rest of us and above all manmade laws, when in truth their crimes show them to be anti-human, therefore, sub-par on the evolutionary scale.

That one day the ultimate joke will be on them occurs not. But I guess that’s an integral part of allowing the ‘joke’ to work itself out until it can never rear its unfunny, tasteless head again.
