A film review of The Duchess
Not by me, silly.
Both readers of this blog surely know I am not qualified as a film reviewer knowing only what I like, not what you will.
But my fellow Gatherer, Digital Dogs, has published an informative review of this film starring the beautiful Keira Knightley and the brilliant Ralph Fiennes as the Duchess and Duke of Devonshire, with Dominic Cooper as Earl Grey (of tea fame!)
So if you like historical dramatizations and lovely costumes (who doesn’t?), you may be interested in seeing “The Duchess.” I know I am.

Update: found an interesting article in The Daily Mail about the child the Duchess gave up being a direct ancestor of Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York! Eliza was also an indirect ancestor of Diana Spencer, Princess Diana.
