Bush and Paulson on the steps 11.24.08

This morning I was surprised with an interruption by ABC News breaking in with a Special Report and there on the steps of the Treasury Department building stood George Bush and Hank Paulson making a statement to the press. Bush and Paulson playing together on the Treasury steps!

Well, Bush was speaking and Paulson had his back, one supposes.

The Special Report appeared at 10:37 am est and missed the precise beginning of the statement so I caught Bush in mid-sentence. It was brief all the same, and as I peeked at an Astrology chart for Treasury (thanks, Solar Fire software!) I saw that at 10:30 am est, rising was 18Cap46 – the ’18Cap’ I often bark about as the NWO’s natal Uranus/Neptune conjunction degree of 1993.

I won’t bore you here with its Sabian Symbol in full, except to say that its keyword is POLITICAL POWER and that it relates to keeping order. I’m sure the Bush-Paulson performance this morning hoped to do just that as Bush announced he was rescuing, bailing out, or, as he put it: “safeguarding”  CitiGroup.

He also said defensively with his voice rising that they had made these decisions in the past and would do so again. (So shut up, American taxpayers. You have no say in the matter. And apparently Barack Obama, who was told of this rescue, Bush said, can take it or lump it.)

Anyway, with Sun (leader) 2Sag44 and Mercury (announcements; speeches) 2Sag08, the Sabian Symbol for ‘3Sag’ is informative:

Quoting from Rudhyar’s ‘An Astrological Mandala’…’Two Men Playing Chess”…”keynote: The transcendent ritualization of conflict.

Essential to sociocultural living is the transmutation of man’s natural aggressiveness under most conditions of existence. Many rituals, sports, and games have no other basic aim. In chess the complex types of energies which in their togetherness constitute a human person are symbolized by six kinds of pieces (king, queen, bishops, knights, rooks, and pawns.)

The struggle between light and darkness (the Yin and Yang forces) is ritualized, ending in most cases with the checkmating of the king (the ego, the conscious self.) In a dualistic world such a contest between polarized forces is omnipresent.

The chess game trains men to be more objective, more careful, more aware of whole situations – and less impulsive and intent upon side issues.

This Symbol deals with conflict, but at the level of group culture and psychological symbolization. It brings to the objective consciousness the basic realities in interpersonal INTERPLAY.”

Marc Edmund Jones gives this Symbol with the same word picture but explains it as:

“Self confidence and authority which come to man through his refinement of skills and discipline of understanding, and of his capacity for mobilizing every potentiality of self at any point of challenge in events.

Here is emphasis on the individual’s effectiveness and profitable participation in a reality which he has been able to approach and master through the completeness of his perspective. His gift of concentration is his genius of self-fulfillment.

The keyword is: ABILITY…

positive: high sensitiveness to every possibility of accomplishment or broadened self-discovery;

neg/unconscious/shadow side: unsuspected bigotry or foolish exactitude.”

(The ‘unconscious/shadow side’ are my additions.)

Interesting that the Illumination Point – the opposite degree – has for a keyword: LUXURY. Its unconscious/shadow side is: “complete selfishness and a joy in lording it over others.”

On a side note: did you know Bush has pardoned more turkeys while at the White House than he’s pardoned men during his terms? And they’ve been bootleggers! But I suppose there’s still time for Scooter and Alaska’s Ted.

Now I do want to add the effect of the NWO’s Uranus-Neptune degree as it rises with a midpoint picture:

Ura-Nep = ASC: wearing anxieties on one’s sleeve; a person who is easily influenced; instability; hypersensitivity; depression.

Depression? Well, we do hear a lot now about a “crisis in confidence” which is a large part of America’s economic problems. But they never address fully the fact that our lack of confidence is due in large part to a criminality of leadership – in Washington, on Wall Street, in corporations, and in commercial and investment banks and insurance companies the world over.

And you know the crooked fatcats and their enablers won’t be stepping down any time soon – in spite of any hastily called press statements of ‘rescue on the way’ from the steps of the US Treasury.

So there he was this morning – George W. Bush, near the end of a long eight-year presidency, presiding over the Treasury steps with a ‘Master of the Universe’ as his sidekick, more lies on his lips, and the surplus his presidency began with only a distant memory.

George Washington has a few other ideas about what the government could do for CitiBank/Group on his Blog:

New ‘New Deal’ too big a deal?

Let George explain to you that perhaps too much of the wrong things are being thrown at the current financial crisis which is not the same as the old financial crisis – and Obama and Pelosi may be set to make things worse:

Why, it’s almost as if government’s political thespians are intent on crashing America’s economy so completely that a new financial world order will become our only avenue – and our only ‘hope’! (she typed drippingly.)

Can the fabled ‘amero’ be far behind? And will Barack Obama be the spoonful of sugar that makes the medicine go down? If so, does he know that’s his role? How can he not?

~Note: no ‘ameros’ have been harmed in the typing or publishing of this post. And also: see sidebar for Stars Over Washington feed to article on Senator Jim Inhofe’s recent letter to his colleagues concerning a debate on asking for the rest of the billions back from Paulson during this week’s lame duck session! (Some Astrology notes are included in the article, but are written in rather plain English.)

Nov 15 2008’s G20 Summit

As you’ve heard, Bush has called for a G20 Summit to be held in Washington this weekend, beginning Saturday, November 15.

The weekend begins with a Gemini Moon and Sunday will enjoy a Cancerian Moon. I’ve been happily blogging all day but am now a pooped puppy but not looking for a berth at the White House!

So this post won’t be expanded as I’d like; still, the Sun Sco/Moon Gemini and Moon Cancer blends may be of some interest as we wonder what’s up with this first-ever G20 meeting held at ‘Head of State’ level. Barack obama will be sending two reps on his behalf, one of which is former Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright, but only in “listening roles.” (I wouldn’t want to step on Bush’s shadow  either!)

Sun Sco/Moon Gemini: this Water-Air blend is quick-witted and easy-going, passionate yet detached; it can be flippantly superficial about the serious, yet deadly serious about trivia. There is a quest for understanding and much restless energy with which to begin the G20 meeting.

Anxieties may be expressed and volatility may split the proceedings with off-again-on-again involvement – perhaps a walk-out may occur though probably only temporarily, if so.

“Images for Integration: ‘Trivial Pursuits’ goes macabre…The mystery of life in a strip cartoon…A viruoso violinist touches the eharts of her audience…Rodin’s ‘The Kiss’, ‘Hands’.”

Sun Sco-Moon Cancer is Water-Water so there’ll be plenty of emotional sensitivity, passion, secretiveness, and perceptiveness. This is the ‘mailed fist in a velvet glove’ combo which is guided by gut feelings. (Cancer is the US’ and George Bush’s natal Sun sign…very self-protective within their crab shells.)

This blend has a self-sacrificing vs self-assertive tone which may help or upset the weekend’s summit, and we may or may not hear much of its internal workings. Some pronouncemnt will be forthcoming when it’s over, as we may expect.

“Images for Integration: ‘A mother eagle defends her babies with immense courage…A mother passionately defends her delinquent child and pleads for a compassionate verdict (for the dollar? jc)…A surgeon develops life-saving methods.” (‘Sun Sign-Moon Sign,’ Chas & Suzy Harvey.)

Yes, the worst outcome for America may be the abandonment of the US dollar as the world’s reserve currency. (But of course, you know my belief that the global elite are working toward this very aim so they can implement their ‘new economic world order’…can you see it coming? Read http://augustreview.com for articles on these things.)

And George Washington expresses himself well on his Blog concerning the G20 Summit, along with links to pertinent and informational articles on the subject if you wish to read more:

Update: Rep. Paul Broun is now backing off his ‘marxist’ remark about Barack Obama…he ‘meant to say’ that some of Obama’s policies are marxist – while bringing up Hitler’s name in the process of making his original remarks to a radio station in Ausgusta, GA. recently.

Oh yeah, Broun – that’s an improvement. Puh! Wonder which GOP strategists forced him to make this measly adjustment in his stupid shoot-self-in-foot critique of our brand new president, duly and resoundingly elected, who has yet to take office? This is all pretty amusing coming from one of the GOP goose-steppers, the party whose policies need serious revising so that we-the-people can begin to recognize our country again!

Bush’s Continuity of Government and Barack Obama

As both readers of this blog know, I am a fan of George Washington’s Blog.

George as blogger is giving us a heads-up on Bush’s Continuity of Government plan – the one where, among other things, a new president’s inauguration is suspended due to an emergency – the one I’ve had nightmares about for years now – and George says that Barack Obama should be asking the CIA all about it.

The president-elect is the only one who might actually receive an honest answer on this oh-so-secret Bush-Cheney plan that could make Obama’s services not needed after all:

The Fed’s hairy dog

Well, most people intuited this from the start but it does seem that the Federal Reserve Bank is barking up the wrong tree:

Oct 9 is D-Day for Lehman Bros derivatives

Let George Washington explain about this Thursday being D-Day for Lehman Brothers’ auction (D for ‘derivatives’) and how much hinges on the auction’s outcome in spite of anything Paulson and Bernanke have done or might do.

And if you read George’s last paragraph, you’ll see that Oct 23 is D-Day for Washington Mutual.

Oct 23?

Oct 23, 1907 is the 101st anniversary of the day top financier J. P. Morgan said enough’s enough and rescued America’s financial patootie, although there was more than met the eye concerning that panic, too…like the problems of NY’s Knickerbocker Trust.

“This is the place to stop this trouble!” J. P. exclaimed, yet Neptune had opposed his natal Jupiter on Sept 30, 1907. And he was enjoying a fresh Jupiter Return which had recently occurred on Oct 1, 1907! Hmmm.

Noel Tyl calls them “Jupiter Reward Cycles.” (See J. P.’s Page in the sidebar column – there’s a link to Daniel Gross’ article on the subject of Oct 23, 1907 – the Panic of 1907 – as it relates to 2008.)

Well, 2008’s most powerful banker is Jamie Dimon, J. P.’s successor of sorts as head of the firm descending from the House of Morgan. The Robber Barons just keep steam rollin’ along, don’t they?

Now I turn you over to George Washington:

An Economic Silver Lining

Now we know that Founding Father George Washington was a Freemason and thus was well-versed in Sacred Geometry and what we call Astrology, yet I have no reason to believe that George Washington the blogger uses the sacred art for informing his posts.

Yet with Sept 29’s New Moon at ‘7 Libra’ – “A Woman Feeding Chickens and Protecting Them from the Hawks”…it is time to plant seeds for future harvesting as is the case with New Moons.

That’s what czar Paulson is trying to do as well, but the American people must beat him to the spade, in a manner of speaking.

Let George explain the details of this silver lining for America:

Derivatives, the room’s elephant

Here’s a linky-rich article George Washington wrote on his Blog about derivatives – what they are, why they matter, and who’s been hawking and hiding them for years:

Rolling back the Enlightenment

The Age of Enlightenment (1724 – 1752) led initially by Voltaire and Diderot, marks a time when philosophers popularized the ideas of the ‘new science’ and when classical music was created around the time the period kicked into high gear in 1741.

We who live now are Children of the Enlightenment, primarily due to our tendency to question authority and inherited traditions, testing them as we go. The Enlightened philosophers didn’t simply champion the ‘new science’ – they led the march toward the use of new scientific ideas as a means of helping, improving, and liberating society.

Is this part of the decontruction we’re now facing with transformative Pluto in Capricorn, sign of government, law, and business, the structures of which seem to be due for break-down and rebuilding?

FDR’s New Deal may be considered a Child of the Enlightenment, too, and we know how certain politicians are allergic to its care of society (less money for their overflowing coffers, I assume.)

Are current radical political and economic reformers part of an anti-Enlightenment script which threatens world society as it totters on the verge of plummeting back into a dark dark cave of duh-dom?

Yeeks, the weekend is here!! So why am I thinking of this crap now?

Because I read George Washington’s Blog and this particularly thought-provoking article:

note: the chart for Monday’s ‘Full Moon 22Pis54 9.15.08’ is now on my Pages list with but a scant amount of details…to be cont’d…

McCain’s address to the VFW: headbuts continue

You know the one about butting your head against a brick wall?

That’s the feeling I’ve been getting from the neocon-GOP types in the last few years. Their usual tactic of painting Democratic candidates as “weak” or liberalism as being ‘weak’ is in full play, as is McCain’s ‘show me someone to hit’ mentality which is the same revenge mindset that Bush-Cheney used with such good (political) effect after 9/11.

To use diplomacy first, to withhold one’s fire with a measured approach rather than depleting arsenals and wearing thin your human and other resources, are not ‘weak’ tactics – they’re intelligent and show that thoughtfulness has occurred. Withholding power shows true power more than expending it can.

Neocons don’t mind if the energy is misdirected as long as they retain power. Never mind if true culprits sneak away in the night (assuming that you are not the true culprit – as in, false flag ops.)

Here’s a link to the text of McCain’s address to the VFW so you can admire the GOP-neocon-scripted bullish bullheadedness in his own words:

And it’s not as if we can’t clearly see where such vengefulness has led America so far, now is it?

It’s to al-Qaeda’s and others’ advantage to keep warmongering neocons in the White House. Not to America’s advantage however.
