11 South Solar Eclipse: news says “system failed”

In a very literal turn of real life events being described by Astrology, here’s an extremely sad incident reported by McClatchy News using the ‘system failed’ words right out of the current Solar Eclipse Series which manifested on *July 21/22, 2009 @ critical degree 29Can27 with its ‘systems fail; any blocks may be violently or tragically removed’ flavor as noted in Bernadette Brady’s excellent book, ‘Predictive Astrology.’

And Cancer is the sign of the mother and child, and of home.

*Eclipse manifestion date depends on your time zone. In US zones it occurred on July 21, 2009.

Obama’s reforms modeling wrong Roosevelt

Simon Johnson makes the point I’d make if I were an economist who could write like Mr. Johnson: that President Obama’s reforms of the US financial system should follow Teddy Roosevelt’s actions before it attempts to model FDR’s.

And astrologers everywhere know that the July 22 Solar Eclipse at critical degree (29Can) is nearing with its ‘failed system; new methods and ideas needed; any blocks may be violently or tragically removed’ vibe.

And yes, an Eclipse’s influence may occur about 2 weeks early, or begin during its 6 month season of strongest influence.

Advice? Hold on to your piggybanks, and don’t depend so much financially on the internet, just in case.

A few notes on Memorial Day 2009

It’s Sunday near 3 pm in Georgia and there’s a major downpour beginning with possibly severe thunder boomers, so I must be brief…

A post concerning Memorial Day is now published, along with a few personal comments on my ancestral links to the Civil War, if you’re interested.

Astrology Note: The Solar Eclipse of July 22, 2009 will manifest at ’30 Cancer’ with the Sabian Symbol: “A Daughter of the American Revolution,” and I believe the second half of 2009 holds many surprises for America and for the world in the ‘system failure’ department as Brady’s ‘Predictive Astrology’ notes for the 11 South Series (see sidebar of Pages for details on the January and July Eclipses of 2009, 11N/11S)

You’ll also find in the linked post a few details on the Civil War’s Battle of South Mills (Camden) on April 19, 1862.

Sending out sincere Gratitude to those who served, serve, and will serve! JC

Lehman Bros chickens home to roost

On NPR I’m hearing chickens coming home to roost concerning Lehman Bros lack of a buyer and it reminded me of Sep 11, 2007’s Solar Eclipse which happens to be the Series in which Fed chairman Ben Bernanke was born  – aka his Pre-natal Eclipse Series.

2007’s Solar Eclipses last manifested in 1989.

As it happens, I have a few astrology clients who got worked over rather badly by this Eclipse on a personal level. It’s the 9 New South Series which Brady’s ‘Predictive Astrology’ gives as:

bringing to the surface long-term worries about loved ones, health, or paperwork and communications issues; a worrying piece of news received – any news has a sense of destiny or fatedness about it; responsibilities with paperwork coming home to roost.

Along with Wall Street’s chickens.

See the 9 New South Eclipse chart here: http://starsoverwashington.blogspot.com/2007/07/sep-11-2007-solar-eclipse.html

And remember stocks plunging in November 2007?

August 1 Eclipse brings: The Mummy

Wonder if the execs at Universal knew that the premiere date for ‘The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor’ is a Solar Eclipse day?

You may have seen the August 1 Eclipse chart with details here (see Pages column) in relation to the NYSE (whose Pre-natal Eclipse Series it is) but you may not have related this Eclipse to a 2,000 year old cuss who buried his enemies under the Great Wall of China. How could you?

Probably the film’s release is timed for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Of course, the Olympics are occurring within the 10 South Series Eclipse, too. Hmmm.

Then yesterday NPR reported that Beijing’s air quality is still poor – I say Beijing is using a version of the *Twain Defence of Wagner’s Music in order to justify the city’s miserable levels of particulate matter which the government’s recent attempts at improvement haven’t seemed to help much…”The air is cleaner than it looks,” they assure the world.

Seems it’s the fog’s fault. Really. The fog did it.

But back to Brendan Fraser and Jet Li who star in number 3 of The Mummy series. You’ll remember last time that ‘The Return of the Mummy’ chronicled…that the Mummy returned. Now things have heated up like a city under smoggy fog and the Great Wall is in jeopardy of…well, something, I know not what.

But I do know that the film’s trailer is one of the best you’ll see and you may wish to view it at:

while thinking of 10 South’s influence which is:

breaking out of a very negative situation where no hope can be seen to a more positive space containing many options; a worry will suddenly clear; the solution is shown by the cosmos and needs to be taken up without too much delay. (Brady’s ‘Predictive Astrology.’)

Well, if I’d been socked under the Great Wall of China for 2,000 years ‘more space’ would certainly be a good solution! But taking that long-awaited deep breath of Beijing air might pose a slight problem.

“There are two lasting bequests we can give our children: One is roots, the other is wings.” Teaching children values and giving them the opportunity to excel is essential to good parenting.
