Is Public WiFi Dangerous?
Personally I never use public WiFi. How about you?
Odd referral links to this blog!
Why in the last few months am I seeing ‘odd’ or unrelated referral links to this blog in my Referral list that shows from whence people clicked to reach Jude’s Threshold? I’ve taken a chance and clicked on a few of them recently and see no reason why my blog is being ‘found’ from those sites which all seem to be selling something (like “cordless phones”, “sex”, etc.)
And none of the referring sites relate in the least to Astrology, Art, or Politics that I can determine. Am I missing something here?
Anyone know whas’up with the WordPress referral link feature and how this weirdness could be occurring?
Wikileaks’ Schmitt leaving
As you may have heard, Dan Schmitt, who joined the upstart activist whistleblower organization of our time in 2007, says he’s leaving WikiLeaks.
Sometimes there is little option to do otherwise.
August 6 1991: first-ever webpage online
As you may know, Tim Berners-Lee was first to publish a webpage to the World Wide Web, and you can still view a copy of the page here where you’ll see its time stamp ’14:56:20 GMT’ and read a rather dry text as texts go.
No over-the-line blogging on Politics involved in 1991!
August 6, 1991 @14:56:20 GMT, Geneva, Switzerland, gives 18Sco19 rising with wealthy Pluto 17Sco35 controlling the event. At Midheaven (the Why? Point of the chart) is @ 2Vir50, with Mercury 5:49, Venus 6:49 Rx, and Mars 13:40 in 10th house. In 9th house are Sun 13Leo34 and expansive Jupiter 22:01; it’s an Hour of pioneering Mars.
This technological innovation occurred just prior to the Great Conjunction/s of Uranus and Neptune (3 times through 1993 @ ’18Cap’ conjunct the North Node position in the first-ever webpage’s natal chart; the 3rd Uranus/Neptune Conjunction of Oct 24, 1993 marks the natal chart of the New World Order; ’18Cap’ = “The Union Jack Flies from a New British Destroyer,” with Sir Berners-Lee being of the British persuasion.)
So the first-ever webpage has very recently enjoyed a Nodal Return, a fortunate time when new associations may be entered into.
And you’ll be quite satisfied to know that the first-ever webpage was published under the influence of a brilliantly innovative Mercury/Uranus trine as Berners-Lee and others ‘grappled with special problems’ (Mercury/Saturn = Pluto) and implemented ‘far-reaching plans’ (Moon/Pluto = Mercury.)
However, considering the attacks which occur by the minute across the Web, and the onslaught of governmental desires to ‘police’ the web, spy on you and me, and charge for content, it behooves me to mention that the first-ever webpage chart will have its Secondary Progressed Full Moon @1Pis41 on June 9, 2010.
If this situation mimics the same Full Moon progression of the US natal chart (see sidebar to view chart), the World Wide Web’s urge for expansion may well be reached or limited this very year and contraction will soon be necessary – or imposed.
At the least, changes are coming such as broadband access (“over the next decade”) in order to free up frequencies to do just what, we don’t know – but Big Brother surveillance will become even easier than it is now with broadband.
In the August 6, 1991 chart, there’s an interesting midpoint picture involving two planets that are associated with the Web (as well as the NWO): Uranus and Neptune; NN = public contacts; nebulous Neptune is all about webs and networks, Uranus is all about genius, electricity, science, and technology.
Uranus/NN = Neptune: technological teamwork; a political association advocating reforms; meeting with people off the beaten path. (All midpts pics: Tyl, Ebertin, and Munkasey.) To me this sounds like the genius of physicists working hand in glove with politicians and their plutonian enablers.
The first online webpage of August 6, 1991 has as its Pre-Natal Eclipse Series, 11 South, which is in the same Series as the Solar Eclipse of July 22, 2009: ‘sudden reforms; old methods and ideas fail; new systems are required to cope with changes; any blocks could be violently or tragicaly removed. ‘ (Paraphrasing Brady’s ‘Predictive Astrology’.)
And I believe the 2009 Eclipse to be tied in by degree with another Solar Eclipse coming up on July 11, 2010, the 12 South (the PE of the USA) @ ’19Cancer’: ‘successful outcomes to long-term worries or illness; draining issues at first seem worse, then clear.’ (Brady.)
Yes, the July 11, 1991 Solar Eclipse was also @ ’19Cancer’ (July 11 then and now) which conjuncts Fixed Star, Castor, an evil influence, or at best, is an indicator of creative writers and authors having their say.
So has the World Wide Web been a positive influence on society since its start-up? Well, everyone has an opinion, but the 1991 chart yields more, fyi:
Rising in the above-noted chart for August 6, 1991 is Fixed Star, Zuben Eschemali @19Sco16 (’19Sco’ is traditionally considered an ‘evil degree of the accurs’ed sign’)…keywords for this Star: ‘negative social reform.’
Okay, now I’ve typed my peace…and the mop and broom of Spring Cleaning now awaits with the twinkling of a star, and I shall forcefully turn my back on webpages of all descriptions…for a while, at least.
A communique from Intrepid Liberal Journal
At last! My friend in New York, Robert Ellman of the Intrepid Liberal Journal blog, has recently communicated to his blog’s readers who have been missing him for several weeks. After our many emails and comments, there’s news from the author himself.
Click and allow Mr. Ellman to explain himself and do check out his blog’s many excellent articles and interview podcasts if you haven’t already. I’ve been missing his insights into Politics and hope he returns to blogging soon.
Katherine Heigl’s self-created troubles
Actually I was watching The Late Show with David Letterman the other night when Grey’s Anatomy actress Katherine Heigl made her remarks about the grueling 17-hour day she had to suffer filming the show.
Her bad.
For now that there’s a plethora of her own creations: Katherine Heigl haters, adorning the Web, her ungrateful complaints are now explained to me more fully in context and in the glaring light of We Should All Be So Employed!
Guess what They Say is so: troubles are often self-created.
But They Also Say: any publicity is good publicity.
That’s right after They Say: loose lips sink ships.
Besides: who absconded with the missing ‘e’ in ‘Heigl’?

Comcast limits use as of Oct 1
Comcast, already reserving the right to pull the plug on users as it suits them, will take a goose-step closer toward undemocratic internet service when its new rules go into effect on Oct 1, 2008.
Limiting its customers to 250 GB of downloady goodness, this marks a new low in the world’s tilt toward totalitarianism and a two-tiered internet of limits and censorship.
Not being a Comcast user has never made me this happy before!
