Got pesky Digital TV issues yet?

You may notice there’s a new link and Category in my sidebar for Digital TV.

Mandated by the US Congress and soon to hit sparse pocketbooks all across America on Feb 17, 2009, Digital TV with its compliments-of-Congress problems and questions are piling up so we’d better get stirring and figure out what’s going on with our idiot boxes and their needs if we (I!) am not ready.

No matter if you think the ‘Digital Transition’ sounds like suspicious New Age rigamarole or merely cool technology, it’s knocking on your analog door, but the thing is, even if you’re signed with cable or satellite TV, there may still be some issues you’ll want to know more about.

Therefore, in a tempest of linky love, I have added Matthew Torres’ blog here for your convenience:

http://tv.about.com/b/

And if you’ve yet to do so, you may wish to visit the official site for information on this frenzy of increased TV sales with clearer pictures zinging through the Earth’s atmosphere by checking out:

A Personal TV History Revealed:

My parents bought their first TV in the summer of 1954 and never looked back. Then I came along and happily there weren’t a plethora of reruns to become jaded by either! In fact, Atlanta, GA beamed a popular local children’s puppetry show and little me went with my school class to sit in the audience one afternoon to be magically entertained by puppets and ‘Pop-Eye’ cartoons.

As we arrived, I remember stepping over fat cables on the floor and feeling pretty special as I successfully dodged the monster-sized cameras being swung about the place…a dark, cool, and fascinating TV studio! I had seen ‘The Wizard of Oz’ and ‘Gone with the Wind’ by then, so was completely hooked on the magic of film and photography.

Plus, the TV Magic of Disney made my private world bright with their inspiring drawings and storylines such as Peter Pan – still one of my favorites. They showed the animated Peter Pan on TV recently, perhpas yuo caught it. You can probably spy Disney’s Art influence in my Dreamyfish Art drawn on black paper in a fairly similar style to Fantasia’s dancing fishes…

http://dreamyfishart.blogspot.com/

But the big February switch-over is nearing while I wonder sometimes if the talking heads on my TV screen are pixilated illusions or real human beings reading scripts. Then there are motivational concerns about the spacey, millennial-sounding ‘Digital Transition’ with its propagandistic possibilities.

Will our TVs finally be able to watch us back? Is what my household watches of any concern to anyone in authority?

Must we go back to Code Puce alerts? Is this an evolutionary chess game?

The map of the solar system for Feb 17, 2009 is quite interesting and maybe I shall publish it when I have more time to discuss. If this change isn’t described astrologically by the Saturn (old methods; tradition; Earth; restrictions) opposite Uranus (technology; progress; space; out of the blue or the sky; freedom), I don’t know what is!

And 2009’s Great Conjunction of Jupiter (expansion; ideology) and Neptune (film; mass consciousness; spirituality; deceptions; propaganda) will last the entire year with three meetings: in May, June, and December. And this Speculating duo meet upon America’s natal Moon (the people; the public; publicity; home; emotions; perceptions) so we have a midpoint picture:

Jupiter/Neptune = Moon: a desire to dream; losing oneself in plans or illusions; becoming involved in speculation; instability; wastefulness; an emotional swoon; going with the wind. (Tyl; Ebertin.)

Did society really need progressive TV? Or some decent chow and a jug of clean water?

Plus, there are two possibly pertinent things to consider within the Sun AQ-Moon Sag blend of Feb 17, 2009: one a quote from a famous musician who shares the combo in his natal chart. A personal favorite of mine, it’d be cool if his music was broadcast during an hour of Transition, wouldn’t it?

“When I am…completely myself, entirely alone…my ideas flow best and most abundantly. Whence and how these come I know not nor can I force them…Nor do I hear in my imagination the parts successively, but I hear them gleich alles zusammen (at the same time all together.)”

– Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

Then may I suggest The Magic Flute? It’s beautiful tunes and simply full of Masonic, Rosicrucian, and/or Illuminati secret codes, numbers, and symbols revealed, after all. Made ’em mad, too. The TV folk could toss in a smidgen of OTS ritual weirdness and we could soon have a worldwide shout-out to the White Lodge on Sirius, dog gone it!

That’s where the real control comes from, say such adherents – signals from the Dog Star Sirius. And Sirius Radio grew fatter recently, now didn’t it? Arff!

So do tell, Wolfie, will we be receiving barked yet subliminal messages from the highest order? Our broadcast muse (Isis?) has many wonders in store from the digital world, she assures us.

Well, perhaps one of three ‘Images for Integration’ from Charles & Suzy Harvey’s ‘Sun Sign-Moon Sign’ book might be enlightening for this New World we’re entering whether we like it or not (thanks, US Congress – but your promised improvement of reception for first responders and police departments can bring to mind police in US streets, you know.)

Regardless of my 1984-esque misgivings on propaganda catapultin’ and its nefarious possibilities for mass manipulation, here’s the Image for you:

‘Alice in Wonderland.’

Seems it’ll be Through the Looking Glass we go!

Bombs over Orwell 1941

Here are three timely quotes from Orwell, Stamp, and Cicero, compliments of the Information Clearing House Newsletter:

“As I write, highly civilized human beings are flying overhead trying to
kill me. They do not feel any enmity against me as an individual, nor I
against them. They are only doing their duty, as the saying goes. Most of
them, I have no doubt, are kind-hearted law-abiding men who would never
dream of committing murder in private life. On the other hand, if one of
them succeeds in blowing me to pieces with a well-placed bomb, he will never
sleep any worse for it. He is serving his country, which has the power to
absolve him from evil.”  George Orwell London. UK. 1941
=
“Banking was conceived in iniquity and was born in sin. The Bankers *own the
earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create deposits,
and with the flick of the pen they will create enough deposits to buy it
back again. However, take it away from them, and all the great fortunes like
mine will disappear and they ought to disappear, for this would be a happier
and better world to live in. But, if you wish to remain the slaves of
Bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create
deposits.”  Sir Josiah Stamp (1880-1941) President of the Bank of
England in the 1920’s, the second richest man in Britain

Mixed feelings about Woodward’s new book

Okay, so reading Bob Woodward’s new book, which will be excerpted Sept 7 in the Washington Post and released Sept 9, will be hard to resist since it purports to give the skinny on the inside of the Bush administration’s decision-making process (there’s a process? I thought it was Bush’s ‘gut instincts’ and eye-gazing, along with Cheney’s master planning) so it will have to be read.

But mixed feelings come in when I get the same old (tired) feeling of ‘why didn’t he tell this when it might’ve done some good?’ – as I get with so many tell-all books and articles that spill the Bush beans after the cornbread is already burned to a crisp and I’ve lost my appetite.

That mega-bucks are expected to be made on Woodward’s book for its publisher and author, and for the myriad of talking heads, pundits, and critics who will have something new to blab about online, in print, and on TV goes without saying…they’ve established quite an industry of Bush-and-Cheney bashing while barely diverting the neocon agenda from its goals much at all.

Of course, most media board members and network bosses sit on the same Trilateral Commission boards and whatever brotherhood societies that keep the billions flowing and the agenda on track – one needs a score card to keep up with everyone’s motives and memberships, if you can find a publisher of score cards not in on the big game.

The rest of my mixed feelings about Woodward’s book stem from the fact that if it’s going to be THAT revealing with such deep inside scoops as it’s being touted to contain, our enemies can read it, too.

Now I know what we once called that sort of thing years ago when I lived in Washington and you’d think we still would.

But as usual with Bush-Cheney tactics these last interminable years (and adminstrations before them), the bar has been lowered, which is, after all, what the one-world-government types have been doing for years – getting the masses accustomed so that the next outrage – ignoring the Constitution, subverting the legal system, the Bill of Rights, the banking system, failing to protect the WTC if not being in cahoots, undermining the US dollar, outing covert spies like Valerie Plame – whatever element of the social fabric we-the-people have come to depend on – will be less opposed when dissolved and may be swallowed more readily next time.

And as most people are aware, Bush-Cheney have put in place contingencies bwo The ‘Patriot’ Act, for emergency police action against the people who may dare to fight or complain too loudly against the next outrage or whatever else they have in store – called off elections, lack of response to a natural disaster,  fill-in-the-blank.

Here’s a link to a March 2007 post concerning the Attorneys General firings, Al Gonzales, and a mention of the ‘Patriot’ Act provision they inserted for certain purposes, if you’re interested:

Jupiter/Neptune: the speculators

The recent attempts of politicians on Capitol Hill to score politicial points for denigrating, or for subtly supporting, speculators in the market concerning the subprime pyramid schemes which Congress had to see coming from years away – puts this reluctant astrologer in mind of 2009’s Great Conjunction of expansive, idealistic Jupiter and nebulous, illusion-infused Neptune, a planet which also represents idealism as well in an Astrology chart…along with inflation and scandal.

Marking the early days of the next administration with High Hopes while indelibly staining the entire term either positively or negatively  (or some combination of both), this pairing has a cycle of approximately 13 years’ duration. They last met on Jan 9, 1997, 27Cap09, conj US natal Pluto.

This conj to natal Pluto may be viewed as Jupiter/Pluto = MC because it is conjunct US Inaugural Midheaven (noon, Jan 20, DC – relates to the presidency and its Goals) which benefited and described Bill Clinton’s second term in the Oval Office. This, our self-styled “first black president” was and is part of the Jupiter/Pluto plutocrats who strive for excessive power, including political power, and so we have:

Jupiter/Pluto = MC: ambition; assiduity and industriousness; advancement and promotion; great good fortune; hardworking attainment of power position. (Tyl; Ebertin.)

So what of speculating wastrels described by Jupiter/Neptune? When does their 13-year new cycle begin and at what degree?

Due to retrogradation, all of 2009 will be flavored with this visionary, fortune-hunting combo of planetary energies which may also signify spiritual things, rumors and scandals, and tricky legalisms – quite a catalyst if it aspects one’s – or a nation’s – chart.

1. May 27; 26AQ29;

2. July 18; 26AQ02;

3. Dec 21; 23AQ18, all of which positions are conjunct US natal Moon (the people) depending on which US natal chart you prefer – all for July 4, 1776 have Moon in the 24 to 28-degree range of Aquarius.

So this go-round we have:

Jupiter/Neptune = Moon: an emotional swoon; going with the wind; dreaminess; little sense of reality; losing oneself in plans; instability; wastefulness; becoming involved in speculation.

One may assume the last -becoming involved in speculation – concerns the housing bill passed yesterday with its re-mortgaging provisions and taxpayer bail-out for Fannie/Freddie; plus I assume a few things:

that more details will be coming out as the year goes on about Wall Street’s role in the meltdown and with subsequent legal proceedings for some traders, bankers, CEOs, etc, and what the Fed and Hank Paulson were really wanting through the passage of this bill can’t be hidden forever; that the honeymoon with the new prez will be brief for the dazed-with-corruption American public (the higher the ideal, the harder they fall), and that religion will continue to water itself down within the earthly halls of political power.

And there is the slight yet gleaming possibility of war crimes charges against Bush and the rest of the brethren for their political agenda of torture and for lying America into an illegal, preemptive war…macho macho men who are no better than the barbarism they say they’ve been fighting. Their “WOT” policies created and triggered more barbarism on purpose, more like.

FYI, here are some past years when Jupiter and Neptune were in conjunction: 1907, 1919/1920, 1932, 1945, 1958, 1971 (3X), and Jan 19, 1984 at the World Point 00Cap01, where Pluto will soon return and where big things tend to happen over the globe.

This relates our current days with 1984 when similar issues may turn up – easy enough considering George Orwell’s book and his prophecies – this is such a major trio, we may wish to check it out for future reference bwo midpoint pictures, and as usual, these pictures may be operate as ~all, some, or none~ depending on the triggering thereof and how people respond to it:

Jupiter/Neptune = Pluto: plans unreasonable beyond measure; far-reaching speculations; self-projection out of hand; major adjustment of life circumstances; a great loss.

And in February 2009, the Sun will conj this midpoint which gives:

Jupiter/Neptune = Sun: lack of self-control; deceiving or being deceived; SPECULATION; potentially misguided states; irresponsibility; squandering of physical strength; feeling the spirit; trying to capture the essence of things; following a dream.

And they say Barack Obama is “dreamy”…so what is John McCain? Ah yes! he used a very descriptive word himself…Seismic. Old ill-at-ease McCain with the seismic temper now masquerading in ill-fitting Republican clothing in order to prove he can shill the best of all the warmongers.

Then there’s Obama charading as a world politici–wait a minute–maybe he is that with his natal Jupiter in humanitarian Aquarius! So do one-world-government types love him, too? That’s way too dreamy.

Guess we’ve all got a lot of sobering up to do – but 2009 may not be the year for it unless the narrow path is trodden with much care and with a realistic appraisal of our true condition…tasks not made easier with Jupiter/Neptune infusing the scene with its glow.

But tricky legalisms aside, at least the collective may get some lovely Art of it!

Has the 2008 October Surprise begun?

UPDATE Oct 3 2008: today the House passed the ‘Bailout Bill’ which the Senate passed on Wednesday, and Bush signed this massive $700 billion+ boondoggle into law an hour and a half after it was passed. It was signed faster than FDR signed the declaration of war on Dec 8, 1941…that scam was passed at 12:30 pm, signed at 4:00 pm. See, the Capitol Hillers can move their patooties very swiftly when there’s a big payoff in it for them.

Now the reason I’m adding this update to this particular post about October Surprises is that my intuition tells me that That is what the financial crisis/bailout bill is. How so? In many more ways than a gnat outside the screen like me can possibly know, but there’s one thing in particular I’ve been considering.

Remember how often we’ve heard in the last year or so how Republicans in Congress are expecting to be routed in the November ’08 elections? And notice how the bailout song-and-dance since Paulson debuted it two weeks ago has necessarily involved the Democrats.

Now if you two readers know anything about my online grumps, you know that I consider America to have a one-party system of government. One small yet visible bit of evidence is the mystery play of Joe Lieberman as the disappearing Democrat. (Matinee tickets still available.)

Therefore: class warfare =  the powerful stay in power, and if they have to play roles of ‘R vs D’, it’s a small price to pay for hanging onto the cache of power and staying in the elite class as opposed to the unwashed masses (that’s you and me and your Aunt Granny Fanny.)

Now I’m not saying that the bailout scheme is only about an October Surprise to return and elect as many Republicans in November as possible. But compared to the possibility of the routing the Rs were facing, hay may be made in the next few weeks of which Dems voted how, what they said and when they said it, and whether their hometown constituents can be made to throw them over for…yeeks! a fresh Republican or three.

Yes, it may seem far-fetched in the October Surprise department but I’ll be keeping my eye on the screen to see if any such propaganda (propagandum?) is attempted concerning the House elections 2008 and the votes and dramatic scenes concerning the bailout bill from Hades. That the rushed-like-war-in-Iraq bill will be part of the presidential campaign is something we can’t realistically hope to avoid.

Plus, the power elite’s long-planned bankrupting of America is moving along quite dandily with the goal of setting us up to accept any desperate solution they propose.

And we just did.

~:~ totally unimproved Original Post begins here:

Okay so I’m wakeful and thinking too much obviously, but the bombing at the armed services recruiting office in Times Square and the subsequent propagandistic statements floated by police persons and officials who should be more circumspect is sticking in my political craw.

So I ask you: given that this incident has been named as a possible link to NYC’s past bombings of a similar nature–hooded man, bicycle, homemade devices, wee morning hours, etc–at the Mexican and the British consulates, is it just possible that a chain of terroistic acts has begun in order to declare martial law which may culminate in suspension of the November elections?

Most Americans wouldn’t take such an outlandish idea seriously, I know. That’s one reason why it could happen quite easily–just threaten chaos as a replacement for law, order, and our sense of safety, illusory as it may be. Oh–and fire us, rig the system to create homelessness across the land, undermine the value of the dollar bill in our pockets, and voila! we won’t know it’s done until it’s over.

Kind of like recession–you’ll know it’s arrived only in hindsight, as economists are inordinately fond of telling us.

Thing is, the common man has known for years now that the US economy is retracting where HE’s concerned and has felt (understandably) powerless to do anything about it. What was it Frederick the Great {sic} said? My people and I have come to an understanding; they are to say whatever they want, and I am to do whatever I want.

Well, yes. And you have to wonder if all the ‘experts’ can’t do any better than to watch as the ‘global economy’ crashes. Personally, I think most of them are enjoying themselves–their insistence upon a global economy in the first place has set up the distinct possibility of a worldwide crash–and you can be sure that big money is being made behind certain doors.

The other reason martial law would be easy to declare here is that the syndicate element intent on world domination will stop at nothing–NOTHING–to continue couping governments all over the world, and they’ve known for years that taking complete control of the US is key. Yet some say the US is low on the totem pole as far as the NWO governing structure will be concerned. Is that part of the selling-out of America now in progress?

Yes, you’re right…yawn…I should get some sleep now…hushing up…sweet dreams to all who love the world, nightmares to those who would see her fall…

Update Sept 23 ’08: if you’re like me you’re thinking the past use of an “October Surprise” has morphed into a September Surprise with the current bailout proposal of Paulson & Co…all this mock gnashing of financial experts’ teeth will be excellent for keeping the next president from enacting any reforms that might actually aid those who struggle – and make the hourglass so top heavy with wealth it will topple America herself…then the world dominos will fall and voila! The one-world-government will be the “only answer.”

You wait and see…North American Union – NAU – is on the menu. And a paperless-money-world so your every move can be kept track of. Me? I’m never up to anything that’s worth tracking!

Bush on TV: more corn, drilling, spying, and warring

Bush-more imports come from overseas

Perhaps you may wish to read some astrological details on Bush’s 41st press conference this morning:

http://starsoverwashington.blogspot.com/2008/02/bush-press-conference-41-22808.html

But if you don’t, that’s okay.

Just think–when he performs two more, it’ll be the 43rd from the 43rd. And yes, Bush 41 was mentioned in a question this morning as: are you concerned that a sagging economy will defeat John McCain like it defeated your father in 1992?

Pretty good question but, as you may expect, no direct answer was given. As William F. Buckley, who passed away yesterday, age 82, said on Fresh Air in 1989 (it’s on my radio as I type), politicians answer questions based on self-protection–to avoid being embarrassed. ~

That’s why they take classes on how to non-answer by framing questions within their own perspectives in order to promote what they want you to know and avoid admitting inconvenient truths. Actually these days it’s more to avoid being indicted!

And the bully pulpit of the president is the best place to perpetrate constant disinformation, of course. Today the Sun and Moon are in the Disseminating phase–264+ degrees when he began speaking at 10:05 am est–which is a period of communicating perspectives and passing on the info.

Yes, George Orwell would approve of their practiced methods, but in horror. Orwell was born during the Balsamic phase of the Moon, you know–the prophetic phase.
