Verses of the Six Degrees replayed

Usually I reblog here the posts and articles of others in order to spread them around. Tonight I ‘reblog’ (re-post, actually) one of my own efforts which occurred to me in 2015 via the creative inspiration of Mr. A. Cat…but posted here only for those who don’t mind a little bad poetry:

Mr. A. Cat’s Verses of the Six Degrees

In Kevin Bacon’s Six Degrees

there nestles Tudor’s tale

a royal son exalted high

was then tossed into gaol

A Bard and poet prophet he

renowned both far and near

fate’s new Atlantis his ideal

bequeaths a haunting fear

Such hallowed halls of Science trod

old Francis and his staff

genetics our cruel master now

enjoys his mocking laugh

As followers expand the dream

with solitary eye

in pagan hearts a beast to roar

all decency defy

That hidden plan becomes more clear

as plainly can be seen

from chaos order is employed

by head of state and Queen

In modern times the game descends

to liars crooks and knaves

who conscience-free purport to be

footloose to dance on graves.

Gingrich predicts who’ll run in 2012

Here’s ethics-challenged Newt Gingrich predicting which Republicans will run for president in 2012 and even Ron Paul is listed.

Gingrich’s own name isn’t excluded, of course, and for those of us who are Palin watchers, her name is near the top of the list, according to Newt the Prognosticator.

And now, without furr-ther ado, here’s a political cat limerick from the last campaign concerning Republican candidates…snarly.

Rrrraowwrrr!

Art of Politics or Politics of Art? Not here!

Lila and the Red table

Well, not s’much anyway.

But you will find a blend of Art bwo my oil and watercolour pencil drawings, and Politics bwo Political Astrology (actually called, Mundane Astrology) here at Jude’s Threshold where I like to smoosh together all my interests including Political Cat Limericks which I purloin from:

http://limslimericks.blogspot.com  (kitty litter scratches from our main bard and muse Mr.A.Cat, an agent formerly in service to our nation–contains some cat photos, too);

http://starsoverwashington.blogspot.com  (looking under the hood of Politics bwo the Stars overhead–AND it’s linky rich);

and there’s the occasional mention here of modestly priced Art Downloads from my Lulu Storefront:

http://stores.lulu.com/judecowell   plus,  you are welcome to request a particular image for addition to Lulu if you find one you favor overmuchly, perhaps from:

http://cosmicpersonadesigns.blogspot.com (mask-infused, archetypal, Chiffonery and Erotic Art–for 17+ers);

http://secretmoonart.blogspot.com  (cosmic, moon, botanical, children’s, and Fairy Art);

http://dreamyfishart.blogspot.com  (botanical portraits of tropical fish ensnared within their private dream scenarios–Saturn’s realism meets Neptune’s undersea illusions.)

So I hope you’ll mosey by a blog or two on my list for Stars, Politics, cat rhymeries,  or to view some of the online gallery images which make up this web of snuggly fabric of creativity which I’ve weaved into a tapestry just for you!

‘Blackwater Kitty’ meets Radiohead

Alberto

Seldom is it nice to post twice but Mr.A.Cat is insistent that I get out his new limerick here too–smearing it over the ‘net…so here goes, titled as above:

A kitty liked water so black

he flew all the way to Iraq

just give him a gun

Iraqis will run

while shooting themselves in the back.

Mr.A.Cat, Esq. 10.10.07

Three of you know how Mr.A.Cat (formerly in service to our nation) sends pithy political lims to my dwelling so they can be published on his political cat limerick blog, Lim’s Limericks.

And though Mr.A. is currently off on a mission of some import I can do no less than comply with his wishes especially since his former colleague and friend, Lim (an excellent chef who does my dinner) enables the enterprise with his nagging and vicious threats of retiring from his masterful fish bakery forever.

This would not be good for I’d really miss his famous Pearl Biscuits with Butter Gravy and other delectables from the sea…examples pictured here:

http://dreamyfishart.blogspot.com

So, my friend, you’ll find Blackwater Kitty and other pithy political rhymery, plus the occasional kitty cat photo at:

http://limslimericks.blogspot.com

And am I thrilled that my main band released a new batch of pay-if-you-like tunes today? You betcha. But you’ve probably already downloaded it, right? ;p

Radiohead Rules! (and always has, imho.)
