Art: ‘Womany Jungle’ by Jude Cowell

For you, it’s Womany Jungle, a fanciful figure study by your blogger of the moment, Jude Cowell, creator and curator of Cosmic Persona Designs (featuring Chiffonery Art and Boudoir Blossoms Art for 17+ers) and owner of the Jude Cowell Art Shop at Zazzle where you never know what might turn up for your consideration (including my sexy-fun Cosmic Lilith Art Calendar 2011!)

And Art appears: Hermesia!

Look, it’s mercurial Hermesia thinking of past and future while simultaneously planning to languish about this weekend and get herself in the mood for a cozy hibernating season 2010!

Yet still the curiosity of Mercury’s handmaiden, Hermesia, continues…

Sepia Art can be racy at times!

'5 for Fashion' by Jude Cowell

By chance, do you happen to like sepia-toned images of fanciful figure studies? If so, a visit to Sepia Art Theater may be just the thing for you.

‘Art, Drama, and Chocolates’ is the art blog’s theme and all drawings are presented in sepia tones yet most images are linked to their full color versions! An Art Slideshow with script is available (scroll down a bit) but perhaps best of all, your ticket for attending is always complimentary.

At Sepia Art Theater, matinees run 24/7 so perhaps I’ll meet you there!

new art: ‘Gina’ now on 2011 Calendar!

2011 Calendar covergirl: Gina

“Are wall calendars passe?”, asks Gina, and here’s a new ‘fanciful figure study’ portrait of the lady herself from my Boudoir Blossoms series of drawings. Gina invites you to check out her turn as 2011 Calendar cover girl which you’ll discover in my Cafe Press Art Shop!

As you know, there’s 24/7 browsing in the Boudoir Blossoms Art Shop where you’ll spy Gina’s affordable 2011 Calendar for US$7.99.

Not a bad price, especially if you don’t mind a little Chiffonery Art to introduce your year and decorate your wall! This is a single image and sheet calendar with the 12 months of 2011 upon it.

But if you prefer an art-filled calendar, then I might suggest to you a more abundant Lilith Art Calendar 2011 with its glamorous bevy of beauties, one for each month of the year! ;p

If Scorpios and others wish, they may whisk away and check her out in my Boudoir Blossoms Art Shop hosted by Cafe Press!

Note: my drawings are only Chiffonery Art after all. Some images are on the racy side, yes, but there are No sexy photos to be concerned about…still, my drawings are recommended viewing for ages 17+ only.

Thanks for your compliance,

Jude

What is Cosmic Lilith Art?

'Aubergine' from the Cosmic Lilith Art Calendar 2011

As you know, the feminine archetype of Lilith is found in Astrology, Mythology, and has one mention in the Bible as well. She is usually portrayed as an enraged woman with vengeance on her mind, in a word, a shrew, or even a devil.

Well, actually that view may also be used to describe astrological Venus, can’t it? It’s the ‘hell hath no fury like a woman scorned’ model of femininity which can be a b*tch for those fellows who fall afoul with their bad behavior against lovely lady Venus, planet of relationships and love in Astrology.

Yet my favorite model for Lilith has to be her ‘glamorous woman’ archetype with its hint of mystery and the best example I have created of this lovely, unfussy, pleasant Lilith is a new Cosmic Lilith Art Calendar 2011 with its pencil portraits of fanciful figure studies (‘pin-up girls’!), one for each month of 2011, as perpetrated for you by this artist and astrologer.

So if you, dear reader, are among the 17-and-older crowd, you are cordially invited to check out my Cosmic Lilith Art ladies for your wall for 2011 will be here before we know it!

“There are two lasting bequests we can give our children: One is roots, the other is wings.” Teaching children values and giving them the opportunity to excel is essential to good parenting. However, I feel I must also provide my children (and myself) insight into the ones who came before us: our ancestors whose lives and stories have shaped us into who we are. This is my journey; these are their stories…
