For those who’ve asked: yes, my 12-year US Jupiter Return Report remains available for downloading and printing by visiting the PayPal button in the sidebar of Stars Over Washington!

As you know, Jupiter is one of the primary planets implicated in matters of corporatism, globalism, and all types of broadened horizons and with America’s natal Ascendant in *Sagittarius, freedom-loving Jupiter is prominent in our nation’s birth horoscope and national psyche so it’s always a good idea to keep our eyes on Jupiter’s interactions with the US natal chart and planets, its transits to our newly minted Jupiter Return horoscope (as of July 22, 2013), and its affects on other planetary actors.

*Using US natal horoscope for July 4, 1776 5:10 pm LMT Philadelphia, PA (ASC 12Sag) though other versions are useful as well. The main reason I use the ‘Sibly’ Sag Rising chart is because it had transit Pluto conjunct ASC (Self) and transit Saturn conjunct our DESC (Partnerships) on 9/11/01. And you know what the cruel, controlling Saturn-Pluto opposition brought–permanent change to America’s character and people and an undermining of the US Constitution.

A Chief Justice on what government does for you

Chief Justice Earl Warren (March 19, 1891 – July 9, 1974) was appointed to the United States Supreme Court by President Dwight D. Eisenhower who had expected a moderate conservative but got in Justice Warren an “unabashed liberal”.

When ‘Ike’ tapped him for the SCOTUS, Earl Warren was serving as a very popular Republican governor of California (oh for the good ole days without litmus tests! ) One of my favorite political quotes of all time – now apt again during the Democratic presidency of Barack Obama and which relates to the separative politics now practiced in Washington DC – comes from Chief Justice Earl Warren:

“Many people consider the things which government does for them to be social progress, but they consider the things government does for others as socialism.”

The recent practice of Corporate Welfare (for many who are little more than cheats, fraudsters, and criminals) comes quickly to mind especially since the American people’s social safety net grows more tattered and Swiss-cheesey with each passing day that the GOP holds forth with their austerity measures. What say you?

Our Labor Day parade 2010

Americans have President Grover Cleveland to thank for the political ploy of setting up an annual Labor Day, a Monday holiday for some that traditionally has meant speeches and parades through the towns and burroughs.

Imho, Cleveland established Labor Day in order to avert more crises with workers angry toward the government, not to honor them, which is a load of hogwash!

So considering the condition of the US labor market and too-high unemployment numbers, I suspect ‘parades’ may morph into demonstrations and protests this September 6, 2010.

This year the semi-holiday will give his opponents yet another opening to ‘make it’ about President Obama’s policies when massive layoffs are actually a decades-long trend brought to us by American and Global Corporatism.

Now if you’ve ever read this blog or my Political Astrology blog Stars Over Washington, you know that I consider our ‘two-party’ system to be a mirage. It’s ruling class vs we-the-people in my book with little if any difference between an R and a D.

Yet their waging of class warfare has been in evidence more clearly in recent years though it’s been a bone of contention off and on for decades in the US, perhaps since Day One in our plutocracy. The more Americans out of work, the more notice it’s a case of class warfare and yes, greed.

Particularly since the late 1800s, the era of the industrialists, aka the Robber Barons, workers’ jobs have been dependent upon upper crusters whose main concern with the bottom line is paramount; their craving for power only grows. While the rest of us long to pay our bills and decently support our families, the power elite long for more control over us…which includes the ability to lay off thousands at one swipe.

In fact, recent data of corporate earnings show that much of their ‘earnings’ are wispily based on letting go their workforce in massive numbers. A neat trick to increase profits, if you’re in the corporate ruling class, eh? And who’s to stop you? SCOTUS is on the side of corporations against the individual, as has been made exceedingly clear.

Well, in May 2010, Mother Jones reported that No matter what’s going on in the broader economy, Wall Street always thinks earning will be at least 12% or higher – part of their sneaky tricks of the trade, no doubt.

Yes, Wall Street’s Fuzzy Math and multiple sets of books bedevil the US economy but you don’t need any sort of math at all if you or a loved one are out of a job with no prospects for employment. You’re zero-for-zero and x-ed off the rolls. Turning to Congress for aid barely gets you a crust of bread though funds for war are easily financed.

So what to do for Labor Day 2010?

Will you march in a celebratory parade – or a had-enough protest?

Obama slams ‘corporate takeover’ of US elections!

President Obama’s latest Weekly Radio Address is an especially interesting one to me.

Here’s a link to the video with text provided (propaganda complimentary; our nation’s natal Mercury-Pluto opposition just keeps on giving us the propaganda, doesn’t it? Like pearls of wisdom from On High! Truth notwithstanding, of course.)

Seems it’s somehow politically profitable now to ‘slam’ the SCOTUS-enabled ‘corporate takeover’ of our election process thus crippling our alleged ‘democracy’ but no word yet on corporate takeover of the US government itself of which the president is an integral part and willing enabler.

Why, Mr. Obama’s Goldman-Sachs economic team screams it out loud, right? I only wish we-the-people didn’t have to have what he’s having.

US taxpayers to bailout BP? Sign petition

If you’re a taxpayer in America you may wish to sign a petition to the US Senate stopping a Taxpayer Bailout of BP for the Gulf oil disaster.

Hold BP accountable for the damage done!

Because I didn’t cause the damage. Did you?

Americans bombarded with carcinogens

For years I’ve complained to the few people who would listen that cases of cancer in the US cannot be reduced or the illness avoided until we face the fact that cancer is very often caused, or at least triggered, by carcinogens and toxins placed in our foods, water, and environments by an out-of-control chemical industry, and winked at by a toothless, complicit FDA.

Now a miracle seems to have occurred: the Obama adminsitration is taking on this very same issue…hurrah!

Is it too hopeful to think that Americans will soon begin to be protected from these hidden factors rather than being guinea pigs for every frakensteinian experiment in chemical mood changers and health underminers that Big Chem decides to stealthily employ to destroy our health?

With the costs of treating cancer skyrocketing over the years, this would be an opportune time to ‘get real’ about the true causes of the disease, wouldn’t it?

Yes, I’m probably being too hopeful here, but perhaps some truth will come out in the process and make possible an honest debate so that we-the-people will realize what’s being done to us which furthers the for-profit agenda of a so-called ‘healthcare’ system which has much to thank Big Chem for – millions of cancer patients needing expensive treatment (with a bonus of population control for those who engineer such dire solutions to the world’s problems.)

‘King of Alarm’ Eclipse page now updated

Just a brief heads-up that the ‘King of Alarm’ Eclipse page in this blog’s sidebar column has been updated today with a link to a new posting on the Codex Alimentarius regulations which are said to be slated for implementation in the US “by Dec 31, 2009” – the day a Lunar Eclipse completes the year 2009 and ushers in 2010.

Seems we’ll soon be chowin’ down on some scrumptious genetically-modified foods laced with plenty of chemical toxins, if Congress, the UN, and the WHO have their wishes fulfilled.

And if this plan goes forward, you know that American Corporatism wins again.

Yum yum.

Walter Cronkite and the New World Order

Well, if the US media has to go over and over the passing of “the most trusted man in America’, his bio and reporting chops, let’s remember Mr. Cronkite’s revealing statement on the United Nations, less American sovereignty, and the New World Order, just to keep things within a more balanced perspective on the man.

Yes, Mr. Cronkite was a one-world-government promoter just like the rest of the corporate media types. To my way of thinking, this puts him in the category of ‘Terror Promoters’ as well.

Are you surprised?

Heads-up on a post now in this blog’s sidebar in the Stars Over Washington feed: it’s a little Astrology on the birth chart of ‘Corporations Are People’ of May 10, 1886, if you’re interested.

US Economy and the 2009 Inaugural Moon

Among other things, the slowness of the Obama stimulus package’s implementation and good effects may be attributed to the Void-of-Course Moon at a crisis-ridden, impatient 29th degree of Scorpio on Jan 20, 2009.

Most common folk know that the wrong end of the street was ‘bailed out’ which is leading to a leaden feeling in the bottom of checking accounts all over the country.

So it’s no big surprise that greed for outsized returns on investments is gumming up the works on the bank capitalization front as we await the start of the lending (the sharing of our own money with us!) to begin.

VOC Moons indicate that things won’t work out as planned or will have unexpected results if they do.

It may even be considered ‘too late’ for actions to make much if any difference (late Scorpio) by the people (Moon), highlighting the sheep being at the mercy of the wolves, in this political case.

There may even be something sinister about the situation especially at ’29 degrees’ of ‘Scorpio’ a sign of Fixed (rigid) energy.

And there’s the next degree after Scorpio ends, ‘1 Sagittarius’…the “A Grand Army of the Republic Campfire” degree which tells me that Uncle Sam Wants YOU, the unemployed.

Yet if bailed out banks chose to act as if they understood from whom the gifted billions cameth, would they then lend out said money to the very people who would actually put loaned funds to good use thereby stimulating the economy?

Like a micro-loan, loanees would be idiots not to pay up on a fairly written and negotiated loan based on real income. This assumes that banks will begin to settle for returns on paid-off deals rather than outrageous profits issuing in part from thin and fraudulent air.

How beggared do rich aristos and their minions have to make the populations of each nation before we say, that’s my money, hands off. You’ve got yours and then some. In fact, you’ve got a piece of every action, oh global crime syndicates now joining forces more than ever before.

(Okay, I confess – that’s what I saw this week when Presidents Obama and Medvedev shook hands – crime syndicates putting aside their petty differences long enough to embrace joint achievement – and underneath an Apollo sun-god sunburst symbol, too! So I ask myself: why would Russia want the US to be successful in Afghanistan after the Soviet army’s humiliating defeat years ago? Charity? Kindness of their hearts? Puh!)

Well, if you or someone you love have paid taxes in the US any of these last decades, you must know that you’ve paid for war, more war, building of a worldwide network (system) of military bases in order to police the world.

Of course you know that!

So I figure the global power players must have most of the gold and other commodities all saved up since they don’t need our tax dollars much longer (massive unemployment numbers; devalued dollar.)

The starvation of city and state governments is part of the charade, too. Break ’em down after the coffers are pilfered, trickle in fewer taxes due to unemployment and lack of retail sales, and you won’t long need a state coffer. And of course – you simply can’t do Anything for the people because you’re broke.

Then sell the emptied coffer for its metal content and we’ll all enter Utopia together where it’s pass the loincloths, hold the civilization – centralization rules!

For as Barry Goldwater once said, “A government that is big enough to give you all you want is big enough to take it all away.”

Senator Goldwater’s pronouncement was meant as a warning to a more sinister extent that a majority of we Americans ever believed about ‘our’ government, touted as the fairest in the world and the best the world has ever known.

Which tells you how others through the centuries have sucked.

So that’s what they’re in process of doing now with bail outs for the rich who then socialize their costs and losses and stick us with the bill.

They’re beggaring America.

The real face of Coca-Cola

Even though I hail from the Atlanta area and went to art school there back in the day, I think this article revealing the real face of the Coca-Cola Company needs to be spread around!

Apparently things go better when you snag lots of public money for your corporate projects but that’s only part of Coke’s story.

And don’t forget: it’s the real thing.
