We have a New Moon on the second day of the new year! The New Moon at 12° 20’ Capricorn on 2 January 2022, 10:34 AM PST has a freshness to it as well as a stronger sense of marking new beginnings than the New Moons of recent months. This is a nice change and a great way to start the new year.

Cardinal signs are the self starters of the zodiac and Capricorn wields that energy in an intensely practical manner. On this New Moon, the Capricorn luminaries are trine Uranus in Taurus and semi-sextile Saturn in Aquarius. The Solar and Lunar Eclipses of 2022

Here’s a list of the four eclipses of 2022 in order of occurrence, all of which fall across the intense Taurus-Scorpio axis; Solar Eclipse themes, which will run in the background of society, are added:

1. Solar Eclipse partial April 20th @10Tau28:23 6 North Saros Series
2. Lunar Eclipse Total May 16th @25Sco17:59
3. Solar Eclipse partial October 25th @2Sco00:06 6 South Saros Series
4. Lunar Eclipse Total November 8th (Midterm Elections Day) @16Tau:00:53 – conjunct radical, disruptive planet Uranus, the zealot and anarchist.

Themes of 6 North: ‘relationship to authority figures, the need to take responsibility and control; accepting commitments due to another’s unreliability’.

Themes of 6 South: ‘being forceful, taking power, manic energy, sudden events, huge efforts in a group activity’ (paraphrasing Brady’s Predictive Astrology).

Now as you know, all eclipses are Uranian in nature and similar to astrological Uranus, tend to disrupt earthly events, even to the point of inspiring a complete change of direction. Natural disasters may also occur around times of an eclipse, plus, secrets may be uncovered or leaked. And I never tire of typing two nicknames for eclipses: “Wild Cards of the Universe” and “cosmic blinks” from Above!

Really good news arrived this week from Ecuador where a Nature’s Rights case in Los Cedros Reserve was won in favor of NATURE!   Hoorah for this huge step – and yay for the integrity of the court system!

Regarding the last post, Balsa is like a Weed, I continue processing this odd dilemma.  I’ve been thinking about all of those pastures that many landowners own, and if they planted balsas on pastures and left intact forest alone, it would be a win-win option, as long as they continued planting to allow for future harvests.  This could turn into a jackpot of a prize if landowners practiced poetic plantings and incorporated other long-lived species that are…

Astrological Analysis of Cult Leaders (Jim Jones)

The current ‘QAnon’ cult of Tr*mp now recommending that its followers do such daft things as nebulize hydrogen peroxide and drink mud to ward off (or ‘cure’!) Covid-19 reminds me of the Massacre of November 18, 1978 when Jim Jones ordered his followers to drink poison. 918 people died that day including a large number of children whose parents had been led astray by a madman whose natal planets are revealed in this post:

I’m currently looking at the charts of cult leaders. Jim Jones (Jonestown massacre) had Capricorn rising with Neptune (spirituality) trine his ascendant. Neptune also trines his Mercury (communication) in Taurus. He knew just what to say to the people who followed him. I’ve noticed Neptune/Mercury aspects with other cult leaders as well. It’s the selling of a fantasy/salvation (Neptune) through words (Mercury)

His Aries Moon conjunct Uranus and square Pluto hints at an individual who’s emotionally erratic, controlling and manipulative. Jim definitely has the chart of a charismatic pied-piper. Venus in Aries trines Mars, conjuncts his Moon and squares Jupiter. This is a charismatic individual with strong leader qualities (Aries) who would promise people the world. Venus is actually quite strong in his chart. His obsession with controlling his followers is even more pronounced with his Venus square Pluto/Saturn.

A Predictive New Moon of Nov 2024

For the curious, below you see a quick posting of a dual image of DC Horoscopes. Upper right is the DC Horoscope of the Predictive New Moon (prior to Election 2024) @9Sco35 with a few of my study notes penned on. Lower left is the subsequent Full Moon of November 15th @24Taurus which happens to conjunct and will perhaps reveal information concerning the natal position of Donald Tr*mp’s Midheaven (‘MC’- the Goal Point in any horoscope, and it involves the native’s Public Status or Standing). You’ll remember that enraged Algol twinkles malevolently upon his MC with the star’s ‘piled up corpses’ implication found in Chinese Astrology.

What secrets or inconvenient facts via the Full Moon affecting the ex-president’s ‘career’ and/or domestic scene may be leaked or uncovered by the November 2024 Full Moon remains to be seen although this lunation on a chart Angle of a man who now purports that he’s a presidential candidate in 2024 may also symbolize a fulfillment or culmination of some kind – not comforting for a majority of Americans, I know, but there it is. Note that there are hints of health issues in the charts for those who wish to find them (see ‘Sun-Moon’, for one). Additionally, you see in both charts that karmic Pluto @29Capricorn conjuncts America’s Progressed position of Pluto (chart not shown) which stretches out in time the US Pluto Return/s (3x) all through 2022.

Then we should also note that the November 1st New Moon’s Mercury (planet of voters, ballots, elections, young people) @28Sco13 rising in 1st house conjoins the natal Sun and Venus of President Biden. Predictively, this may add support to the idea of a Biden (or Democratic) victory in 2024 but is certainly not conclusive, especially since major GOP election and voting schemes are disruptive (Uranus opposes Mercury!) tactics within the 2024 Election picture. And naturally, the ruthless Mars-Pluto duo approves of the ‘win at any cost’ and ‘might makes right’ political manipulations.

Another inconclusive chart factor is the sign of Venus (Sagittarius) which on Election Day 2024 suggests that the presidential victor will be “an outsider,” “a rival,” or “the stranger” – all indications of Sagittarius.

And yet Republicans in office haven’t represented a majority of US voters since 1996 which forces upon the American people the tyranny of minority rule. So you’ll notice the forceful, ruthless, ambitious Mars-Pluto opposition which is Angular (active) on November 1st with both planets at critical 29 degrees. (The Sabian Symbols for ’30 Cancer’ and ’30 Capricorn’ are listed on the November 1st chart with revolutionary flavors and secret control from who-knows-where-and-who.) Meanwhile, Mars-Pluto contacts tend to be karmic or fated as can planets at impulsive 29 degrees and their problematic opposition of force identifies the 2024 Election as a titanic struggle for power and control. Not that we need Astrology to tell us this.
