UN military convoy in PA – May 17, 2010

FYI: an eyewitness reports seeing a United Nations military convoy rolling through the state of Pennsylvania.

Possible routes (highways) the convoy may be taking are listed.

Video tape the event if you see it but you’ll apparently need to be discreet. Are they expecting to quell something…or to stir it up?

Mohair Lace Baby Wraps as photography props!

In the realm of fancy baby photography you’d have to go a long way to find a lovelier mohair Baby Wrap knitted in a certain shade of blue and created strictly for photographing purposes Only.

Here you see a Baby Wrap my daughter knitted…its fuzzy glow will add to a baby’s angelic look, right? Purple and Pale Yellow Wraps are available as well and they ship from Atlanta, Georgia.

Plus, there may be a Pale Pink Cocoon still in stock but no promises there – my daughter Maya is on Etsy’s Fast Team so you have to be quick and not dally about when it comes to ordering her handspun, dyed, and painted yarns for your Special Projects!

More Baby Wrap details here….

Update Feb 2, 2013: no, clicking the above link no longer takes you to the correct location! So I spoke with my daughter concerning Mohair Lace Baby Wraps and the yarn to knit them and find that, if interested, you will want to visit her website Springtree Road and contact her (Maya) for yarn availability! jc

“There are two lasting bequests we can give our children: One is roots, the other is wings.” Teaching children values and giving them the opportunity to excel is essential to good parenting. However, I feel I must also provide my children (and myself) insight into the ones who came before us: our ancestors whose lives and stories have shaped us into who we are. This is my journey; these are their stories…
