Scottish astrologer details firsthand airport closure from ash

Having recently been in touch with my friend, astrologer Anne Whitaker in Scotland, I knew she and her husband were about to take a trip to Devon to catch some rays. But thanks to airport closures from Iceland’s volcanic eruption causing downed flights, ash is all they caught.

Anne has a history with the Great Conjunctions of Jupiter and Uranus, two planets lining up now for their first conjunction (June 8th) at 00Ari18. Uranus at Aries Point places the disruptive planet in range of opposing earthy Saturn again, and Anne is in-the-know about Summer 2010’s Cardinal Cross and titanic T-Squares which involve her expertise, the Great Conjunctions of Jupiter and Uranus.

You might even apply to take part in a study she’s undertaking concerning Jupiter/Uranus, if you wish, so click to read Anne’s ‘ash report’ from the British Isles and find out what she and Ian did to counter their disappointment about switching destinations.

Personally, I think they made an excellent trade and I hope they manage to dodge ‘ash storm 2010’ altogether!

  1. Jude what does astrology show about the volcano, do you think this is just the start of the disruption, we have already had so many earthquakes this year with loss of life.

It shows that natural events like this volcano, which has shut my local airport for 6 days now, simply too much for us at times!

    • Oh Al, i was hoping no one would ask me about the Astrology of quakes and volcanoes. ;p

With the oncoming-like-a-freight train Cardinal Cross (doubling as a T-Square off and on until 2014 or so) with disruptive Uranus (shocks, splits) again opposing Saturn (earth, soil, tectonic plates) we will be experiencing more such natural disasters rather than less in the next few years, esp with Saturn SQ Pluto and Uranus SQ Pluto.

The Earth is angry and i don’t blame her! i am in a snit of miffdom myself over a lot of things and will continue to be, no doubt.

Plus, transit Mars tends to trigger such ill effects and recently i noticed that Saturn has crossed the ecliptic (00:00 declination) which has been noted by weather astrologer Theodore White – this is not a good outlook for fewer catastrophes, esp if Mars crosses as well. (If memory serves, they both crossed around the time of Hurricane Katrina. But i could be mistaken as to the event that resulted from their crossing.)

Yet i think that having both planets crossing near or at the same time is the most unstable situation – and this time it seems to have been only Saturn.

Well, obviously i am no such astrologer so if you haven’t, do check out Theo’s Global Astrology blog because he does excellent work concerning weather bwo of Astrology, among other subjects!

Thanks for your comment as always, All, and i hope everyone’s lives are getting back to normal now that planes are in the air! Jude

  2. Oh my, a message from the lady herself! Agreed on the greater forces – even the most arrogant among us are under natural laws whether they admit it or not. (Politicians’ Jupiter Mantra notwithstanding esp since ‘getting better and better’ has to end sometime….no exceptions.)

Hope you both have a great time on lovely Iona, Anne!

And i hope the ash doesn’t cause problems in everyone’s breathing or hay fever departments…those with emphysema and other lung conditions are on my mind and heart through this crisis. Jude

  3. HI Jude

just closing down my computer to depart for the sacred Isle of Iona off the Scottish coast when your great heads-up came through on my links! Many thanks!

The ash cloud is such a powerful reminder to us all of our smallness and helplessness, in the face of greater forces physical and spiritual than we can ever know….

ps if we get diverted to Alpha Centauri, I’ll keep you posted!
