New Moon 24Sag39 on Dec 16, 2009
In this blog’s sidebar you’ll find a feed to Julie Demboski’s excellent blog with her insightful details on the New Moon of Dec, 2009 @ 24Sag39.
The Sabian Symbol for this new cycle of activity, which Julie terms a Fantasy New Moon (oooh!) is for ’25Sag’…”A Chubby Boy on a Hobby Horse” which Marc Edmund Jones gives as EMULATION.
Positive expression: an indomitable determination to give the lesser potentialities of existence a more effective dimension;
Negative/Unconscious/Shadow Side: idle self-indulgence and ingenuous claims of merit.
Got hobbies? Perhaps you may begin a new cycle of activity where you showcase them! And with December holidays coming up perhaps we’ll be inspired to play and have fun before the Blue Moon Eclipse of Dec 31 ends our year.
News reports say that sales are up for retailers so that’s good for the economy and for your Aunt Granny Fanny who’s pining for a gift from you that doesn’t involve checkered socks! (Surely you can do better than that.)
The New Moon’s Sun Sag/Moon Sag combo of Fire-Fire energies is an interesting blend for its optimism and faith in the future. The essential benevolence of life found in this blend is perfect for the celebration of our Savior’s birth (if you believe that way, as I do.)
Sun Sag/Moon Sag is a blend shared natally by Max Born, Joan Didion, Randy Newman, and Ludwig von Beethoven, composer of ‘Ode to Joy’ who said:
“Give happiness and joy to many other people. There is nothing better or greater than that.”
I’m guessing Beethoven’s music does that even when his personality didn’t.
Happy Holiday New Moon!
