Guitar Pioneer Les Paul dies

NPR BREAKING NEWS: Guitar Legend Les Paul Dies At Age 94 Les Paul, the guitarist and inventor who changed the course of music with the electric guitar and multi-track recording, has died.

This guitar-player-in-youth is sad to hear this news. RIP.

    • Yes, thanks, Jilly! They were both around a lot when i was trying to pick a few tunes!

      Les Paul and Mary Ford once upon a time were on TV quite a bunch, live and reruns. ‘How High the Moon?’ indeed!

      Funny how Paul and Atkins were both laid back, if nervous types (lightening, electricity, guitar breakthroughs lead to rock-n-roll which is much more manic than Chester and Lester ever thought of being in the early days of electric guitar!) ;p
