North Korea’s unavoidable logic

Actually I remember hearing in 2003 of North Korea’s conclusions after the invasion of Iraq:

After Iraq, It’s Not Just North Korea that Wants a Bomb

By Seumas Milne

In April 2003, North Korea drew the obvious conclusion from the US and British aggression against Iraq. The war showed, it commented at the time, “that to allow disarmament through inspections does not help avert a war, but rather sparks it”. Only “a tremendous military deterrent force”, it stated with unavoidable logic, could prevent attacks on states the world’s only superpower was determined to bring to heel.

  1. Hi Jude,
    I am so naive.
I really want one big planet of peace.
I really want the wealthy countries to lead the way.
I really want children to eat.
I really want to see bright leaders define the real problems all cultures face, on this planet at this time and shine their brains on real solutions we can all get behind. Even if our languages are different our basic needs are the same, unless be need to harm, fight, win, control, be a star.
I really want to hear the strings that bind humanity hum.

And I would like to cure all disease.
    Why not?
Love and light to you and yours.

Princes, Paupers, Pilgrims & Pioneers: Our Predecessors & Me

“There are two lasting bequests we can give our children: One is roots, the other is wings.” Teaching children values and giving them the opportunity to excel are essential to good parenting. However, I feel I must also provide my children (and myself) insight into the ones who came before us: our ancestors whose lives and stories have shaped us into who we are. This is my journey; these are their stories…
