UK expense leak case inspires cat’s limerick

Well, I didn’t ask for this but elusive spycat Mr.A. Cat has sent along a new limerick concerning the ongoing scandal (read: cat fight!) in Britain over misuse of public funds for politicians’ private expenses.

If you’ve phoned a repairman recently, you know that the costs of moat repair and maintenance are out-the-roof these days – what’s a well-paid member of parliament to do but fudge expenses? After all, everyone’s doing it, right?

So do check out Mr. A’s Afluff Is the Cat from UK, if you dare. Rrraowrrrr-r-r!

You’ll find that a BBC News link to the story is included in the post along with a complimentary cat photo, too.

A tasteless GOP

When it comes to Speaker of the House Nency Pelosi, the Republic Party (not a typo) has stooped to a new low and is demeaning itself more ingloriously than it’s demeaning the intended political target, Pelosi.

As far as her looks go, I’d thought this week when I saw Nancy Pelosi on TV that she’d Finally Stopped cutting her own hair, and had had a little sumpin’ sumpin’ done to uplift her visage. But maybe it was from cleaning the dust off my TV screen.

Nope. Couldn’t be that. Because Newt Gingrich looked worse than ever.

However, I feel I must also provide my children (and myself) insight into the ones who came before us: our ancestors whose lives and stories have shaped us into who we are. This is my journey; these are their stories…
