  1. Governor Kathleen Sebelius just got passed as Chairman of Health and Human Services with a $1.5 Billion incoming boost due to the swine flu potential. Didn’t I hear that computerizing the health records of all US citizens would cost a little more than $1 billion. Slick. At least NBA hooked the announcements together even if they didn’t link them.

    • Donna, for some reason i get irritated by the med records online thing…how can they when nothing is secure online? i know it would be ‘systems’ and m2m stuff, but systems can be compromised and i have no desire to have my or my family members’ private records viewable by anyone who has a password. Call me a cautious Cap, i don’t mind…the chance for abuse is tremendous.

And i can’t believe it would save patients Any money – when have ‘savings’ ever been passed on? Hospitals/med offices/clinics would have to spend a bunch to make it happen and the ‘consumer’ always pays….and usually ahead of time before the supposed benefits even arrive.

To me computerizing med records seems off the mark when it’s med costs and prices that are sending people into bankruptcy – or death from lack of insurance or money to pay pay pay.

For too long the US has had people waiting for disease to strike (often in league with polluting industries that poison us with lead, mercury, chems, etc) and then it’s major costs for treatments that Might work – and if they don’t cure or save us we sure don’t get our money back, do we? Too bad, so sad.

And yes, i thought it odd that Pres Obama had Just Returned From Mexico when the news of the flu came out…hmmm…as far as Sibelius, we needed someone in the post and the sourpuss Rs can’t stall forever try as they might.

For all i know, the Rs preferred her for the job, too. You know i can’t think of the ‘Ds vs Rs’ diversion as being sincere when it’s really them vs us and the old ‘divide and conquer’ strategy that’s kept us kittens tangled up in Washington’s yarn for decades.

So i’m attempting to reply to both your comments here – when i click ‘Reply’ it won’t give me the field so pardon if i fogot something. Maybe i can pick up on things tomorrow when i have more time – today was busy and there was the ‘first 100 days’ presser tonight…

Thanks as usual, DD, for your thoughtful comments! jude

      • I totally agree about the computerized files. The scenarios are mind-boggling and for years I have been fixated on this

I’ll bet Hillary is furious that Kathleen got the job she should have gotten to fix healthcare.

Anyway, everyone is fiddling over H1N1 A flu while the economy burns.

  2. Jude what impact could the Jupiter-Neptune conjunction have on this?

    April 27, 2009 at 3:21 pm

    • What a good question, Al.

Of course, in general Neptune is linked to infections of any kind since its ‘urge to merge’ knows no boundaries; and with Jupiter expanding whatever is touched this conjunction may make the Swine Flu infection world-wide (Jupiter ruler of 9th house of Foreign or Long-Distance Travel.)

Ebertin gives the Biological Correspondences for the Jupiter-Neptune combo as: the wrong diagnosis – which we may see as over-reactions to symptoms and worry that it’s Swine Flu (when it may only be flu or a cold, etc.) increase.

Ebertin’s other correspondences for Jup-Nep are: excessive increase of water in the blood; atrophy; and: a lack of tone in organs.

Thanks for your question, Al! Be well, Jude

ps: i left out tr Chiron, the Wound, snugged between Jupiter and Neptune!

      • I have a feeling this is one of those scare-the- people-to-death moments, so someone can accomplish SOMETHING while the rest of us are sneezing into our elbows, or armpits, whichever works better when caught without a handkerchief.

I have noticed the fear is striking the mid-30s folks in my office the most – those with young children. I don’t believe this is THE pandemic, but do believe it is a bad time to be Mexico – flu, earthquake, etc. And I do believe population modification is in our future via a pandemic.

Since the Mexicans were blaming American arms dealers for their drug wars, maybe this promotion of a pandemic is an example to the country leaders of how easily their tourist economy can be isolated.

Anyway, WHO would have to be in on it to raise the pandemic level to 4 out of 6 and I think that is what gets to the youngsters (by comparison) around me. So maybe the G20 didn’t go as well as the Prez wants us to believe. And an example is being made.

I say Nep-Jup conjunct indicates big illusion.
Wagging the dog by the tail stuff.

And I do believe population modification by pandemic is in our future.

    • Thanks, DD, that’s great. Kansas now blighted with cases last i heard.

(Just getting over a 2 1/2 hour power outage late this afternoon…cause unexplained….boo.)

Yes, the Georgia Guidestones are about an hour from me and i’ve yet to visit. Some people have and tell me they’re not especially interesting – but they’re not astrologers! jc
