Bush-Cheney spoil for war with Russia: does Hitler smile?

Seventy-five years between them and the propaganda machine keeps spinning on…

“The National Government will regard it as its first and foremost duty to
revive in the nation the spirit of unity and cooperation. It will preserve
and defend those basic principles on which our nation has been built. It
regards Christianity as the foundation of our national morality, and the
family as the basis of national life.”

-Adolph Hitler, My New World Order, Proclamation to the German Nation at Berlin  February 1, 1933

“I feel like God wants me to run for President. I can’t explain it, but I
sense my country is going to need me. Something is going to happen… I know
it won’t be easy on me or my family, but God wants me to do it.”

-George W. Bush commenting to Texas evangelist James Robinson in the run-up to his
presidential campaign

“And I just — I cannot speak strongly enough about how we must collectively
get after those who kill in the name of — in the name of some kind of false

George W. Bush during a press appearance with King Abdullah of Jordan, Aug 1, 2002

Belated note to George: that was Falwell whispering in your hairy ear, not God. And in the other ear? Whichever rabbi you were favoring at the time…even so I like Bush’s advice from Aug 1, 2002, for if the collective would ‘get after’ the brigands behind the curtain, he’d be one of the ones put away where he couldn’t harm more innocents.

Swords and torches!

The GOP is making as much hay as possible saying that Barack Obama has a messiah complex, and it’s true that a very large ego is required to run for president. Yet in the Battle of Messiah Complexes, I think Bush and his quixotic, oddly directed ‘God-inspired’ compulsion to bomb the Holy Land to smithereens, would win hooves down.

That Bush-Cheney and friends have made billions from their oily adventures is a clue to the coup by the military industrial complex’s…er…messiah complex.

You know, a good bit has been made of what’s called ‘Hitler’s trigger degree’ and rightly so for his natal *Sun in the ’30Aries’ – ‘1Tau’ degree area often seems to turn up in violent horoscopes especially at times when seizing power is on someone’s agenda.

And ‘1 Tau’ is the Illumination Point (opposite/unconscious/shadow degree) of the natal Sun in the Oct 24, 1993 New World Order horoscope.

And I know you noticed from whence Hitler’s above quote spewed…in the works for decades!

Now here’s the symbol for ’30Ari’ from Adriano Carelli’s interesting book ‘The 360 Degrees of the Zodiac’ published in 1982 (third printing, AFA):

“A virago leading by the bridle a horse entirely covered with iron plate.”

Iron Cross? Iron Curtain? Trojan Horse? 9/11? Hello?

Read Paul Craig Roberts’ article, ‘War With Russia Is On the Agenda’ here:

More of same with John McCain. Trying to save yo mama with Barack Obama.

The world domination path is set and no detours will be allowed – not in the 60s and not at this late date for they’ve worked so hard and pilfered so much to give up their iron fist now.

* Adolph Hitler Apr 20, 1889 (NS) 6:30 pm Braunau am Inn, Austria; Moon ‘7Cap’, also from Carelli:

‘The Sphinx’: (a degree) “-worthy of Daedalus, and drives to their utmost defects of puzzling and selfish secretiveness.

{Charubel gives ‘the labyrinth’ as a symbol for this degree…the whole of the sign Capricorn is in fact a labyrinth; will the native be its maker or its victim? Or, like Daedalus, both at the same time? A Sphinx: is the riddle in the native’s self, or waylaying him at a bend in the road he is to travel? And will the riddle be of a material, intellectual, or spiritual nature?

Will there be political or feminine intrigue?

The Sphinx would rather not be asked questions. She is to ask them herself.

(Should the native be a man) and he is involved in political intrigue, there is sure to be a woman somewhere. The native may fly high or land in jail, may be exiled or die a tragic death. It is the end that counts.

But the man is not by all means to be an Oedipus, nor is the woman, whether a winner or loser, to be a sphinx. The riddle may belong to the world of science, and the sphinx watch the secrets of the physical world or the threshold of the world beyond.”

(Carelli adds his usual that the whole of the horoscope gives background and meaning.)

Now you may know that i related this, in part, to the attacks of 9/11/01, for after a mrning of studying charts I took a break at 1:00 pm edt and asked a Tarot question: who is responsible?

A: Ask the Sphinx.

But the Sphinx doesn’t like to be asked questions! The ‘sphinx’ is often used to describe someone who is mum.

Mmm-hmm…bombs planted within towers? How high the degree to melt steel? NORAD put on pretend stand-by games by Dick Cheney?

Many such questions have resulted from that sad day in 2001 and the riddle, like Capricorn’s labyrinth, rankles still from actions taken and not taken under the Geminian duplicities of a void-of-course Moon.

  1. Thank you for the info it was very insightful so if you had a ‘tip jar’ I guess I would owe you. I certainly am not the Native in question…since you brought up the subject may I just say what a marvelous horoscope I DO have………..Saturn in Sag trine Sun in Aries, Moon in Leo, Jupiter, Pluto in LEO (stellium obviously)………just a pesky Merc in Pisces at 19 degrees……where it (being in its detriment/fall) positively ruins all of the other marvelous elements of my chart (Venus in Exaltation in Tau trine Mars in His Exaltation in Capricorn)…………..No, sad to say, I am the obsessive older ‘man’ who finds it hard to ‘let go’ of “Kim Novak”……….The real world Native of whom I speak (apparently) leads a life of pious rectitude in the Chicago area, and she is married with two children……she and her spouse share a South Node/Neptune conjunction, a Sun/Venus conjunction……..other stuff too, I am sure (like two real-world children.)………

So, you might ask, why are you, People’s Observer, so cheap that you are always on the lookout for a ‘freebie” and why not pay for some advice/therapy or whatever? Good question. One of the answers was that many years ago ………….I did pay out $300 to a Washington DC area astrologer for some ‘advice.’ This was a fairly big name person (though not Barbara Watters, although I did attend a seminar series with her once )…….. I had a specific question: an inquiry about the effects of an eclipse on one’s Midheaven (exact to 2 minutes of Arc). The information, I felt, led me go ‘in the wrong direction’ entirely.

In fact, when the dust settled and my Grandpa found out that I actually consulted with Astrologers, told me, “Honey, stay away from that stuff.”

Of course I said, “Yes, Grandpa, I know you’re right.”

But, as you know, Ms Threshold, I DID NOT STAY AWAY from ‘that stuff.” (ha, ha) — But I have avoided paying for personal information….
Fate is by definition, Ineluctable…….attempts to escape it are……um, futile anyway.

  2. lol but i AM nice ;p just inundated this week with starry politics over Denver and next week will be full too.

agree with what you say about the Father/Wounding, perhaps not physical through abuse, but in the psyche or in the bones with health issues, or some sort of childhood weaknesses/infections showing up later.

Saturn conj Chiron in Pisces is actually rare and would Have to indicate a birth in 1966 (i think the cycle is appr 147 yrs) – this is the ‘letting go of the father’ aspect where one is required to become one’s own authority as the lax early environment may have been fraught with limiting societal problems of the 60s thus bringing in Piscean influences and Flower Power.

A low opinion of dad is the usual result which affects the ability to connect with a higher power: The Father.

But with shamanic Chiron this may be just what was done with mysticism, the ‘wickedness’ you mentioned (as ‘witchiness’?), and/or a deep desire to be one with the universe. You know how inspiring Pisces can be

So…virago/’Vertigo’ aren’t so far apart – and your mention of goatish fathers is somehow part of her life. (Novak onscreen may have favored real life too closely, i don’t know. i always thought she was a great beauty and i like her, but she seemed a little on the stilted style of acting. i think i drew a portrait of her once long ago.)

Another thing about Chiron conj Sat in Pisc is a lack of self-confidence concerning talents or gifts (unless countered by other chart dynamics, of course.)

The Saturn transits you mention would bring big lessons but are chances to integrate these difficult energies. And Saturn transits could involve periods of persecution – but Piscean drugs are not a safe solution for escaping these sort of problems and limitations. I’d her sense of authority is deeply wounded and confused (Pisc.)

But! if faith in universal power is gained by experience and love of life she should navigate these waters well (Saturn = ‘stillness’ of ‘spirit’ = Pisces) and one assumes that Astrology may be an interest as well as yoga practice.

Say…this isn’t one of those ‘I have a friend” questions that’s really about yourself, is it? ;p

  3. Rebuttal to “suave request”…….interesting FYI…..there is a prisoner on Florida’s Death Row, Todd Mendyk, who has the same date of birth (April 18, 1966) as the very same Native on whom I was requesting the freebie. So, yes, I guess “Chiron conjunct Saturn in Pisces,” might be ‘really something.’

But wouldn’t it be nice of you, just plain nice of you, to offer a bit more meat on the bone I am asking you to throw me (so to speak.)

As mentioned, the Native of My Interest looks like Kim Novak in Vertigo……and being something of a Femme Fatale… presumably was not/is not one literally.
When I first started studying astrology, it was just around the time Chiron was discovered, and my first Ephemerides has that info in a little box to the side with some other highly technical looking “stuff” (Neil Michelsen’s The American Ephemeris of the Twentieth Century).

No one (fellow Astrology students, or the Teacher), knew what “Chiron” was, so we ignored it. I thought the little glyph for Chiron made it look like a little Cherry B*mb ….so “maverick behavior” was a good enough description of ‘its’ affects.

Later on, I would read some articles describing Chiron in noble terms, as “the Wounded Healer.” Still later, the astrologer Michael Lutin made a big deal about Chiron when the Australian naturalist Steve Irwin died from a Manta Ray barb to the heart. Reason: Steve Irwin’s natal chart has his Chiron conjunct Venus.

So of course I thought of my erstwhile friend with the Saturn/Chiron conjunction and wanted to email Mr. Lutin with a request for a ‘freebie” also………but most professional astrologers prefer ‘paybees’ to ‘freebies’……because, after all, that is their vocation.

So anyway……I would think perhaps that Chiron/Saturn might indicate a wound by a Saturnian Figure (Father) at one point in life…….then at other times..what? Each ‘hard’ aspect to Saturn is also aspecting Chiron at the same time.
Probably not good…….hmm, I don’t think I have ever looked at Todd Mendyk’s natal chart, if one has been published. That might be helpful – or not.

In the movie “Vertigo” there is indeed obsession by an older man –those old fifties movies always paired an impossibly older Male Matinee Idol with a hot young blossom Starlet: hence you have the rather revolting pairing of the 25-years older Jimmy Stewart with the luscious 28-year old Kim Novak.

(Earlier on in her estimable career, the even younger Kim Novak is paired with the handsome but much-too-old-for-the-part William Holden in the movie, “Picnic,” in which there was (reportedly) an ultra-sexy dance number to the tune of a song called, “Moonglow.” [ How do I know this? Because I just read an article in the NYT by an old goat named Prof Stanley Fish in which he waxes poetic over the memory of that scene on his youngish psyche (the movie was released in 1956, when Kim Novak was 22 years old and Stanley Fish was probably about 15).]

So older Men (Fathers, teachers, authority figures, male relatives etc) becoming obsessively attached to Hot Young Blossoms was then as it will be Always…….to be expected, Chiron/Saturn notwithstanding.

And in the movie “Vertigo,” we have an Older Male, his Obsessive Behavior leading Inexorably Toward Tragedy, Deceit, mistaken identity, Cloaking of Identity….you know, the usual elements which might tingle the appetites of a 50’s audience…….plus Kim Novak.

We know that in real life, Kim Novak gave up Hollywood for a life as a Naturalist in Northern California, except for the time off she took to star in the 1970’s TV show “Falcon Crest.”

Does all of this bringing us closer to understanding Chiron’s Message? Probably not, but the persons who came across Todd Mendyk aren’t going to be telling us any time soon, either. Ooh. I just gave myself the Wili’s.

  4. Ah, thanks, a suave request…yes i will look into the ‘Vertigo’ case, but you’re perfectly suited to doing so yourself…Saturn conj Chiron in Pisces is really something. And as you know it’s what the native does with their chart energies that tell the tale.

I suppose the most famous example is between the natal charts of Hitler and Charlie Chaplin…quite different kettles of fish, both dramatists, but motives always direct the play, don’t they? ;p

  5. Interesting post about how the 30 Aries – 0 Tau degree “often turns up in the charts of violence”…..not sure why you happened to mention the German dictator credited with the start of WW II………interesting that at the start of WWII, September 1, 1939, Saturn himself, Ms Threshold, was at that degree, conjunct the German dictator’s natal sun.

Since the aformentioned native did consult with astrologers, perhaps at the end of his life in 1945 seeing all of Europe in ruins, he might have regretted starting a military campaign with Saturn conjunct his Natal Sun………”bad move,” he might have thought.

You have to wonder Ms Threshold why of all people, “he” would have wanted to consult astrology…….I don’t think any of the other political big-wigs of the day gave it even the slightest thought.

(I don’t think that Eleanor consulted astrologers on behalf of FDR, a la Nancy Reagan, or that Stalin was interested, Tojo, Mussolini……..etc………….)

But anyway, in this case, I guess you must be right…..29 Aries/0 Tau does show up in charts connected to violent behavior.

Request for a freebie: I happen to know someone who has their natal Sun at 28 Aries, Mars at 0 Tau…..and who also has their natal Saturn at 24 Pisces conjunct Chiron also at 24 Pisces. This native however, looks nothing like a German dictator or a violent person: she looks just like Kim Novak in the movie “Vertigo.” Do you think we could go ahead and agree that despite her extraordinary good looks that she must be, and probably is, quite wicked?

If that is too much to ask from one freebie, how about just an observation about a native who has Saturn conjunct Chiron? Again, in this case it is in Pisces, but how about just in general….Saturn conjunct Chiron.
