Obama the heartbreaker? + Bush the torturer

Slip-Sliding Away

By Charley Reese

The present administration has a bad habit of questioning the patriotism and loyalty
of people who disagree with it. It spies on everybody without any judicial restraint.
It has riddled the government with partisans who are incompetent. It is the most
secretive administration in American history. It lies like a drunken fisherman.
It puts people in jail and holds them incommunicado without charges. It tortures
people. It is contemptuous of the Constitution and especially of the principle of
checks and balances.

Obama and the Empire

By William Blum

I’m afraid that if Barack Obama becomes president he’s going to break a lot of young
hearts. And some older ones as well.

You know I’ve asked this before: even if Obama wanted to change America’s course completely – who in Washington will cooperate with him?

Obviously there’s a ‘higher plan’ underway as evidenced by Bush’s success at dissolving and undermining America’s foundations in every way he can (and ruining the DOJ has been one of his main tasks) so will the enabling rats of Washington simply roll over and squeak yes! under the warm glow of Barack Obama’s rockstar mojo?

  1. Hi Kenneth, thanks for your comments.

Obama will be very good at presidenting – it’s America’s secret government that gives me pause.

Truly I hope Obama can make a real difference for the American people and the world but one man/one presidential term won’t be enough to neutralize a new world order (‘one world government’) agenda.

Does he even want to? Could he if he did want to? I don’t know.

Sadly, the die is cast in that direction no matter how many innocents are ruined in the process…the ‘chaos creators’ and ‘social tinkerers’ I call them, the power elite.

That said, Africa is understandably very proud and Should Be of this talented, eloquent man! I’m not from Kansas and I’m very proud of him! And I like Michelle Obama, too, and the girls are lovely.

So you see: it isn’t Obama i doubt – it’s the ones behind the curtain who will be directing him – and will be stopping him if things don’t follow The Agenda.

  2. Hi! It looks as if in spite of the fact that Obama has not been given a chance to prove himself Americans are already optimistic he will not do well in office! Down here in Africa, many are proud that the guy is a divinely appointed messiah for the Americans.

You see, the other day a Nigerian lady showed me an email she had received from a friend, forming a catchy acronym around the name OBAMA –
    O – originally
    B – born in
    A – africa to
    M – manage the
    A- americans

In the present dispensation, let us give President Obama a chance!

“There are two lasting bequests we can give our children: One is roots, the other is wings.” Teaching children values and giving them the opportunity to excel is essential to good parenting. However, I feel I must also provide my children (and myself) insight into the ones who came before us: our ancestors whose lives and stories have shaped us into who we are. This is my journey; these are their stories…
