‘Blackwater Kitty’ meets Radiohead

Seldom is it nice to post twice but Mr.A.Cat is insistent that I get out his new limerick here too–smearing it over the ‘net…so here goes, titled as above:

A kitty liked water so black

he flew all the way to Iraq

just give him a gun

Iraqis will run

while shooting themselves in the back.

Mr.A.Cat, Esq. 10.10.07

Three of you know how Mr.A.Cat (formerly in service to our nation) sends pithy political lims to my dwelling so they can be published on his political cat limerick blog, Lim’s Limericks.

And though Mr.A. is currently off on a mission of some import I can do no less than comply with his wishes especially since his former colleague and friend, Lim (an excellent chef who does my dinner) enables the enterprise with his nagging and vicious threats of retiring from his masterful fish bakery forever.

This would not be good for I’d really miss his famous Pearl Biscuits with Butter Gravy and other delectables from the sea…examples pictured here:

So, my friend, you’ll find Blackwater Kitty and other pithy political rhymery, plus the occasional kitty cat photo at:

And am I thrilled that my main band released a new batch of pay-if-you-like tunes today? You betcha. But you’ve probably already downloaded it, right? ;p

“There are two lasting bequests we can give our children: One is roots, the other is wings.” Teaching children values and giving them the opportunity to excel is essential to good parenting. However, I feel I must also provide my children (and myself) insight into the ones who came before us: our ancestors whose lives and stories have shaped us into who we are. This is my journey; these are their stories…
