The astrological Sun represents the male principle and the Moon, the female principle. Their zodiacal signs on your Wedding Day tell a story about you and your partner and about your relationship which begins on that Day–an entity in itself, as you may agree.

Details on the blend of Sun (conscious mind) and Moon (unconscious) of your marriage (or specify type of relationship with precise hour of the ceremony, if known) will give you information such as elemental complimentations, strengths, weaknesses, relationship traits in general, and a word picture which describes the synergy of you and your partner within the entity called  ’relationship’ which has its own life, purpose, and character.

Whether traditional marriage or not, the yin/yang blend of the principles signified by Sun and Moon is what’s important along with aspects and special points or placements on the day the partnership got its start. For as you know, anything which has a beginning has a Natal Chart which then may be Progressed to a particular date for additional and current information about your union…how it’s progressing.

As you expect, this method may also be employed with partnerships which are yet to be formalized, but it does work best when there is or will be a formalizing of the union, so please be advised. Providing the ceremony’s Time/Hour is not strictly necessary although the Moon may change signs during the day so please include an approximate time if that’s all you have available.
