It’s Drawing Day on Saturday June 4, 2011
Three Art questions for you: Do you love to draw? Or did you used to love to draw when you were a kid? Have you engaged in drawing or doodling in the last little while?
Then you may wish to check out details about this Saturday’s Drawing Day! The ultimate goal of the project is to gather one million drawings from across the globe with entries posted in an online art gallery.There are several options for how to download your art offering (flickr, Red Bubble, create a YouTube video, and more) with a chance to be published in the Drawing Day book.
So if drawing is your thing, check it out or simply mosey by the Drawing Day website on Saturday and afterwards to see what art has been uploaded!
Plus, on a heavier note, here’s another question: Is the Strauss-Kahn Arrest Linked to Missing US Gold? with notes on today’s Solar Eclipse in Gemini conjoining US natal Uranus 8Gem55 and transiting Midas, that lover and hoarder of gold.

My drawing shown above, A Fairy’s Secret Valley, is the sort of ‘mystical’ pencil illustration (suitable for children) that is often published at Secret Moon Art and I hope you’ll flit by when you can…
Moon Bush Attracts Fairy! (new Cosmic Art)
Friday is good for viewing artwork, don’t you agree? Chilaxing, I think. Here’s Moon Bush Attracts Fairy!even though I know that you already know that they do. Who can forget?
This drawing is a sample of the sort of illustrations I perpetrate quite often and upload freely to Secret Moon Art in the Botanical, Children’s, Fairy, Moon, Cosmic, and other categories, and which are suitable for all ages. Also, I design merchandise for my Art Shop @ Zazzle as well, so mosey by 24/7 for a peek as you wish.
All Art (when not Paper Collage or Pen): Prismacolor Oil and Rexel Derwent Watercolour pencils on black paper by Jude Cowell 2011; Atlanta, Georgia area, and too close for comfort to the Georgia Guidestones.
Chiffonery Art collaged with Mystical Art

Rather an oddish piece. A bit of a ‘Boudoir Blossom’ lady, a dancer type, but different.
It’s a copy of a drawing from the Summer Olympics 1996, Atlanta, GA., ‘Moonbeam Lake’ photographed small and collaged into a newer figure study for my 17+er art gallery at:
http://cosmicpersonadesigns.blogspot.com
Two drawings were accepted in a city exhibition, one of which was ‘Moonbeam Lake’ which was originally from a children’s book dummy I was putting together at the time, ‘Silvery Tree Path.’
So-named ‘shroom-homes figured into the tale as elfish abodes with fairies playing about unseen…hence my primary imprint 1995 to the present and beyond: Unscene World.
The lighted look in the drawing-as-painting that’s ‘hanging’ on the screen is achieved by embossing with an aluminum pencil – Prismacolor’s ‘Silver.’
And here’s a link to a partial view of the Great Lichen Forest where the Roscoe Woodhouse story ‘Silvery Tree Path’ plays out…

Update Saturday 2:53 pm est: a fresh image is uploaded of a new drawing, ‘ShroomHome on Silvery Tree Path’ which continues the elfin theme…

The drawing isn’t quite complete, but perhaps you may enjoy it all the same!
Plus, another note: the Adult Content Warning has been temporarily lifted for a day or so in order for crawling to take place…seems the Art Blog is about to be kicked off URLTrends due to inaccessibility.
Cosmic Persona Designs’ Content Warning for the 17+ers among us will be replaced very soon. The blog, is, however, only my Artwork – figure studies, designs really – no artsy photos on the premises, and none sought.
It’s Art for Art’s Sake with this apt hint: CPD displays only a little Chiffonery Art…frothy and fun.
Chiffonery Art and a Panacea on a Rainy Day
Don’t know about you but last night’s ‘townhall’ meeting between Barack Obama and John McCain wumped me out with Politics so I’ve turned to Art on this rainy day in Georgia to clear my head.
Now Panacea’s Pink Fringe is finally as pink as it can be:

Art of Politics or Politics of Art? Not here!
Well, not s’much anyway.
But you will find a blend of Art bwo my oil and watercolour pencil drawings, and Politics bwo Political Astrology (actually called, Mundane Astrology) here at Jude’s Threshold where I like to smoosh together all my interests including Political Cat Limericks which I purloin from:
http://limslimericks.blogspot.com (kitty litter scratches from our main bard and muse Mr.A.Cat, an agent formerly in service to our nation–contains some cat photos, too);
http://starsoverwashington.blogspot.com (looking under the hood of Politics bwo the Stars overhead–AND it’s linky rich);
and there’s the occasional mention here of modestly priced Art Downloads from my Lulu Storefront:
http://stores.lulu.com/judecowell plus, you are welcome to request a particular image for addition to Lulu if you find one you favor overmuchly, perhaps from:
http://cosmicpersonadesigns.blogspot.com (mask-infused, archetypal, Chiffonery and Erotic Art–for 17+ers);
http://secretmoonart.blogspot.com (cosmic, moon, botanical, children’s, and Fairy Art);
http://dreamyfishart.blogspot.com (botanical portraits of tropical fish ensnared within their private dream scenarios–Saturn’s realism meets Neptune’s undersea illusions.)
So I hope you’ll mosey by a blog or two on my list for Stars, Politics, cat rhymeries, or to view some of the online gallery images which make up this web of snuggly fabric of creativity which I’ve weaved into a tapestry just for you!
