WordPress page views disappear again

Yesterday I was happy to notice that this blog’s total page views hit and surpassed 250,000.

Today the count is back to 249,770 as of 10:45 am edt. (You’d think it was morphing political poll numbers or something!)

Astrology Mundo has had the same mystery pv slippage and this is at least the second time pvs have dissolved here so what’s up, WordPress?

How high can you count?!!

America’s Mother Complex squalls again

With America’s natal Venus, Jupiter, and Sun in the nuturing sign of Cancer, it’s understandable that we as a people would be a little on the obsessed side when it comes to Mama and her babies. Sun-Venus together gives self-satisfaction while Jupiter greatly expands what he touches – and Cancer loves home, family, and roots.

The recent bruhaha over Massachusetts’ Gloucester pregnancy ‘pact’ is an example of how our Mother Complex can take over the airwaves and run away with the day as it feeds (Cancer) into our neuroses and weaknesses.

Such is this week’s Sara Palin story especially when added to LAST week’s suspicions about her infant son’s parentage. Now it’s true that my last post of a few mintues ago says, Leave the babies alone!

Yet if America could honestly hold its mothering obsessions up to the light, perhaps things could become more realistic AND compassionate simultaneously as we faced our deepest fears and honored our most basic needs without the interference and manipulations of Politics. 

Family life would certainly benefit, that’s for certain, and now we see current Cancerian issues playing out in homelessness (foreclosures, vets on the streets, etc) and the migration of almost 2 million people from the Gulf States.  

There’s a more veiled expression of our Mother Complex, of course, and that’s the abortion issue -  perhaps that’s part of why we try so hard to hide it from our consciousness (the astrological Moon rules the Unconscious…Mama Mia!)

Astrology Mundo on the DNC’s Void of Course Moon

Astrology Mundo has published an excellent article by guest host Sasha on the void-of-course Moon which has been in effect during the Democratic National Convention in Denver this week…until 6:13 pm MDT…woo! that was close.

Turns out the Dems were fortunate that the Roll Call of States was shortened and the acclamation for Barack Obama came when it did – and I can’t help but wonder if there are any astrologers on staff!

And a note on the proceedings in Denver: John Kerry gave the most hard-hitting speech so far, saith the TV guys, Lehrer, Shields, and Brooks (although I’m not certain if they all were in agreement with that accessment but it was, “un-Kerrylike”) and Bill Clinton got the usual ovations and said he was there “to warm up the crowd for Joe Biden” – not that Joe needed it.

Joe will do all right.

Bill kept his self-written speech down to 20 minutes! And perhaps my favorite line was the one about the Republicans wanting us to reward them for hte last 8 years by giving them 4 more…which came after a legal-esque litany of the GOP ills we’re slogging under.

10:00 pm: a video presentation on our military and its real live people, the ones Bush-Cheney haven’t used up. Pardon me, but that’s how I feel about politicians who avoid serving themselves yet maneuver their careers to cynically send our brave children in to war – especially wars of choice.

It’s 10:06 pm EDT now and still no Joe Biden. He should be on soon though, and I’ll be recording it for posterity while using the Solar Fire software’s Animated Chart feature set for Denver to see the planets rise, set, culminate, and fall, and leaving/entering houses as they do.

Are you your Obama’s brother?

Astrology Mundo has a great astro-analysis about the rumor goin’ round about Barack Obama’s brother George living small, they say, in Africa, a circumstance which is being touted by his opponents as if it’s a new negative against the Dem candidate.

The word ‘desperate’ comes to mind, or perhaps it’s the steady drip drip method of political attackery where they hope something will stick by November.

Thing is, Obama identified something like 8 half brothers and sisters in his book and George is one of them.

Well, at least Obama knows who the 8 are. Are you completely certain you know who yours might be?

Astrology of the Bilderberg Club

When the Bilderberg Club began in 1954 (May 29, 1954; Netherlands) their exclusivity would keep them out of the mainstream’s consciousness for many years, and the average Joe and Jill remain unaware of who pulls the world’s economic strings.

I’ve never published the ‘birth’ chart of this entity, but now Monica at Astrology Mundo has posted an excellent analysis which relates the group’s planetary line-up with the US chart, and with the upcoming Cardinal T-square of Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto which financial astrologer Ray Merriman, among others, has been alerting us about for quite a while.

The midpoint picture of this T-square contains little comfort for our already stressed world yet many people who remain unaware or cynical concerning Astrology’s uses have been feeling a build-up of these energies which the language of Astrology so perfectly describes… 

Saturn/Uranus = Pluto: tremendous fear of loss; upheaval to protect assets; rebellion against one’s lot in life; violence; brutality; the desire to overcome difficult situations through extraordinary efforts; harm through force majeure.

Now Monica, who gives me credit for previously posting on the New World Order and secret society matters such as *Masonic participation in the creation of this nation, is promoting here a great starting point for discussion of these issues (including the ‘amero’ replacing the US dollar which seems to be on the NWO menu whether we like it or not. I have previously stated that the undermining of the dollar has been in part to make the amero seem the only solution.)

I hope at some point to take Monica up on the idea of further posting on such things…wish I had time this week, but the clock is ticking on too many projects already and a tech glitch ‘disappeared’ a client’s Astrology Report last evening so re-typing/sending must occur soon.

Actually, this type of subject matter was one of the reasons I began my Political Astrology blog, Stars Over Washington, in the first place (Oct 17, 2005, 3:30 am edt.)
