Isis and the New Moon in Cancer 7.2.08
Tonight’s New Moon (12 Cancer) is one degree from the US’ and George Bush’s natal Suns, but I don’t want to think about that now.
But I do like thinking about how this New Moon is conjunct asteroid Isis, a moon goddess archetype. Seems that Americans staying home for our July 4th holiday will be the thing to do…mama like!
Yesterday I happened to post on Egyptian goddess Isis with her keywords, etc, here:

which also has a link to an article concerning David Albright and his organization ISIS, an article written by Scott Ritter. I do appreciate Ritter’s writing–it’s direct and to the point (which is redundant, isn’t it?)
~~note: if the above link wasn’t live before it’s hopefully repaired now–jc~~
And back in January, this reluctant astrologer wrote a post on a few things relating to Venus and the end of the Mayan Calendar (Dec 2012), a post which shows my measly effort to capture in art the Sabian Symbol for 12 Cancer: “A Chinese Woman Nursing a Baby with a Message” so have a peek if you wish, but remember: it’s the dark of the moon tonight, so watch your step around the house (Cancer!)
