America’s fireworks supply has been all but cut off but meanwhile China has its own problems.

Another fork-tailed G-8 Summit overlooms our heads: elite celebrators, poor things with so much to Deal With and all. Global financial collapse is only a part of the agenda but the woe-unto-us play must be performed. Behind the curtain, chaos must be engineered so that rebirth may be affected.

Like all mortals, these monsters are born in some dark, upper northeastern pumpkin patch so soon to be ice crystal-laced and frosted amid autumn winds whipping down from Canada.

America, my only nag in the race, is hobbled and maimed as her soldiers so brave and foolhardy as to trust a shady oilman in the White House KNOWING that the commander-in-chief’s position, one of the few of our idealistic concepts upon which we base our American identity–knowing that a civilian personage will be directing, or in Bush43’s case - misdirecting, them toward his every whim, quioxtic notion, and plan of plunder.

Or, using a wider perspective, the ’secret hand’ which pulls the strings and works in tandem with the USA’s secret or shadow government ( = Saturn/Neptune -> natally at MC in the US chart July 4, 1775; 5:10 pm LMT; aka Sibly chart…*Sat/Nep = MC: materialism vs idealism; undermining circumstances; renunciations; suffering; emotional depression; seniors, the poor and/or the ill; a peculiar character; capitulating to the demands of the environment totally; giving up; an odd loss of ambition; moodiness) is on the march toward goose stepping innocent people over a cliff of cold-hearted totalitarianism, a Pluto/Chiron -ism of anguish undergirded with the few who believe they merit a higher bunk because they can.

Well, I want to blurb a bit on America’s Solar Return 2008, effectively exact this evening of July 4 at 7:13:32 pm EDT, Capitol Building, Washington DC.

In Asian markets today, oil may be nearing $150 barrel, so we’ll see about that. Peak oil, you say?

And as noted last evening, the major banks of Europe have pulled the plug on America…the noose is tightening fast, as per their plans. If we’re soon parted, Lone Reader, it may be a question of survival in the region which has always tended to suffer from being situated in the lovely southeastern US.

Wish someone could keep Bush from fouling Thomas Jefferson’s property today. The symbolism is stomach-turning - not that Jefferson was perfection, but he did more for the common man than the Bush dynasty denizens would ever care to do.

With her Solar Return Sun in 7th house of Partnerships and Legal Affairs, the US won’t be in control for the year (until July 4, 2009) so Venus in Cancer accompanies the Sun with 24Gem48 on the Descendant, the 7th house cusp. This is the degree of rebel Uranus’ Discovery in 1781, in the crux of the American and the French Revolutions.

Moon 9Leo02 is in 8th house of Shared Resources, Credit, Debt, Insurance, Legacies, Transformation; Death and Rebirth, hidden matters, and the subconscious. Many levels has life and the Astrology that attempts to describe it in astrologese.

The 2008 Solar Return chart for America has her natal Saturn 15Libra at its Midheaven, the Aspiration and Career Point showing America’s Public Standing for the year (Return charts are good for the duration of the orbit, in this case, Earth around Sun.)

Ascending is 24Sag48 with Pluto rising at 29Sag28 Rx, indicating events occurring underground - and at a crisis or critical 29th degree. Actually, Pluto has backed into Sag again for a last hurrah at the “A Pope Blessing the Faithful” degree…and I’m sure he does. But what mission are they fulfilling to be blessed for? Pluto is aka, the saboteur, as you know.

Chart-ruler Jupiter Rx is in 1st house as well - 18Cap02, the NWO degree of Uranus conj Neptune, 1993. It would take more than one entry to cover the subject socio-politically concerning the new cycle of those two transpersonal planets so I must direct you to the ~interweb~ and to the many astrologers’ articles on this heavyweight pair of Sky and Sea. (Mary Shea taught me to ignore Rxs in a Return chart except as transits which will subsequently affect the chart through Stations and House re-entries, ongoing conjs to midpoints, etc.)

Mars and Saturn, not a pleasant combo of energies unless you apply them efficiently to direct or channel energy, are almost conjunct now - Mars 1Vir58 and Saturn 4Vir53 - this stop-go pair is in 8th house with tr SN between them and the Moon in Leo. 8th house cusp 1Leo10 is conj Barack Obama’s n Mercury. Mars/Saturn now approach a zodiacal area of difficult stars so archetypal performances may be expected on the world stage of the victim/savior variety as well as debt talk on the campaign trail and in Japan at the G-8 Summit.

Those in the catbird seat are schmoozin’ in Japan.

Mainly, the US Solar Return 2008 contains a representation of our current Jupiter-opposite-natal-Sun transit, a time when no one is impressed and money sources dry up as in Europe now against the US.

Bush’s natal Sun iss conj Us n Sun, as you know, and the Sun in a national chart is ‘the leader’ so we’re synchronicitously stuck with him and with our own culpabilities in all that’s happened in the last several years as the People’s Mojo has been seriously diverted and undermined by recent social experiments.

Yet I hope we find it again and take back what was set up to be a shared government with checks and balances against coup from monarchical dictatorship…that’s what must be jettisoned.

Well, the Jupiter opposite US Sun is the only applying aspect to SR Sun 2008, so I’ll close for now feeling that this post is incomplete as usual, but as I mentioned you’ll find plenty of other interpretations of America’s Solar Return 2008 (links in sidebar…choose one!)

Mythogical Niobe is known to astrologers as Niobe, the grieving mother archetype, and she tonight ranges at 26Ari12 as the announcement extending the mission in Afghanistan for America’s warriors an extra month has come and is, one assumes, part of Bush’s desire to increase US troop numbers in the country we’ve given back to the Taliban as if the Soviets never learned anything in that stark region of the globe.

Here are two Martians on the world stage we’ve learned to suspect:

Ahhh, true motives! We’re in the final weeks of the Feb 7 2008 ‘Unmasking Eclipse’…”18AQ” season so hidden motivations are apt to be revealed once again…at least until Aug 1 or so, when the next Solar Eclipse Series occurs.

Bush’s ignore-Aghanistan military faux pas is a good example of this administration’s tendency toward misdirected energy applications. Yet with aims and motives beyond the ordinary (and which are kept secret from the mere mortal masses)  I continue to assert that the Bush Gang is not as shoot-themselves-in-the-foot as the Yosemite Sams they portray. Being touted as incompetent, stupid and/or forgetful by your media enablers and minions has been a half-decent cover for the varmints, I suppose.

Saturn opposite Uranus–past vs future/the Middle East ~ esp Israel vs Palestine/new methods vs traditional ways)…November promises to turn up the heat under a cauldron simmering with bubbles of sulphur and ash in time for Jan 2009, and with forces of nature not to be left off the list, sad to say.

Unity, New Hampshire is the scene, political rally is the event, and promoting a Dem White House is the reason as Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton join forces in a Dem rally this hour and kick off their Unity Tour with Moon/Mars at midheaven…

Moon/Mars = MC: self-promotion; getting things off the ground.

As you’ve heard, Barack Obama has written a personal check to start the Help Hillary Defray Her Campaign Debt fund, so you may feel inclined to write one, too. And while the subject may be on today’s agenda or at least merit a mention, looking at a horoscope for noon today, I think attacking John McCain’s Bushieness is the main task, as it must be.

McCain’s Cheney connection may also be of note–I hope it is as transiting Uranus now conjuncts Cheney’s natal Moon (family changes and possibly emotional upheaval; sudden illness)–and this same position of Uranus opposes Obama’s natal Mars, an indicator of danger in his environment (but I’m sure he knows that.)

Sun 6Can22, the leader in a national or mundane chart, conjuncts US n Venus (values; money; relationships) which describes Obama’s seeding of Clinton’s in-the-red campaign coffer as well as a highlighting of America’s Venusian issues of which we are all aware–esp with the ongoing opposition of moneybags Jupiter to America’s Cancerian Sun. This lack of resources will continue into October after which (hopefully) some of our debt/money/stock market woes will begin to improve as the New Year approaches.

Today Mars 1Vir58 and Saturn 4Vir53 are forming a midpoint picture of note with Dick Cheney’s natal Ascendant (his nibs himself)…Mars/Saturn = ASC: struggling for every step of advancement; possible health threat; illness; need for economizing; separation; obstacles caused by others.

As you know, the Mars/Saturn midpoint is perhaps the most difficult point in any chart and Virgo is the sign of health, work, and service.

But back to Hillary and Barack (I cheekily call them by their first names now, don’t you?)…Moon 21Ari15 niftily signifies Hillary today–Aries, sign of the pioneer, Moon = a woman, so there ya go…but Moon in Aries tends toward the “I Am the People” complex and it seems to me to be a large part of her psyche developed through the years of her public service, as she seldom fails to remind us. Moon is parallel Fixed Star Ras Alhague, which indicates a desire or need for balance and healing.

Since at noon the Moon was in 8th house and conjunct the 8th cups in Unity, I relate this to Hillary’s campaign debt problems and a need to balance her accounts.

For Barack we may look to the Sun (conjunct security-minded Ceres–’grain-corn-nurturing’) so the floods of the midwest may be mentioned along with food supply, and Mars in Leo, sign of Barack’s natal Sun and Mercury, the Orator.

Hillary should be able to fire up the rally given Mercury’s Sabian Synbol: “A Woman Suffragist Haranguing”…INDIGNATION…

Born Cindy Lou Hensley on Dec 31, 1954, Arizonan Cindy McCain has Sun in Capricorn and Moon in Pisces or very early Aries.

Only child of beer distributor James Hensley and his wife Marguerite, Mrs. McCain is said to prefer keeping a low profile but perhaps we may consider a few details of the astrological variety because a low profile may be somewhat difficult to keep for a First Lady.

Looking at sunrise for her day of birth (7:36:45 am mst) we see Sun 9Cap24, Mercury 12Cap58, with Mercury out-of-bounds. Guess this could be described as an ability to “think outside the box” yet with Capricornian structure and Saturn’s possible depressive tendencies. Also some unusual, secretive, unknown-to-others communications may be part of her life.

At sunrise the Moon is at 23Pis34…when I don’t have a birth time for someone I always look at the earliest time for the birth date (12:00 am) and the latest (11:59 pm) to see the range of the Moon’s and Sun’s degrees. In Cindy McCain’s chart, the Moon traveled from 19Pis17 to 2Ari53 on her day of birth.

Here are her other planetary positions based on the sunrise chart:

Venus 25Sco33, Mars 19Pis32, Jupiter 26Can54 Rx, Saturn 18Sco18, Uranus 26Can21 Rx, Neptune 28Lib00, Pluto 26Leo33 Rx, Chiron 27Cap40.

You see that Chiron is conj US natal Pluto which means her Chiron is conj her husband’s Moon (John has a Moon-Pluto opposition natally) so her fortunate Jupiter-Uranus conj is conj his Pluto. Whew! Quite a pile-up on the Cancer-Capricorn axis, and her lucky Jupiter-Uranus duo has been known to benefit him in his political aspirations now and in the past.

Jupiter-Uranus = Pluto: tremendous drive to success; large gains; publicity. A power couple!

The earliest Moon position would give her a Moon-Mars conj which is very touchy and prone to emotional outbursts–I rather doubt this is the case or at least I hope not considering her husband’s known emotional temper–dare I say his tendency toward sudden rage out of proportion to the moment?

Mrs. McCain’s North Node is at 5Cap31 and the plutocratic Pluto-Chiron midpoint is conj her Venus-Neptune midpoint. Venus-Neptune is where one has a dreaminess, high ideals, and may be prone to illusions. It also describes the ‘glamorous woman’ which certainly seems to apply here.

And of course, any Neptune contacts may point to negative escapisms such as alcohol and other drugs…then there’s her family business of alcohol pushing and her past drug issues.

Actually, the natal chart for Vatican II has Venus-Neptune = ASC, sort of a Venus-Neptune-r-us signature. Is Cindy Lou of the Catholic persuasion? Dunno. If so, she may find the restrictions oppressive (Pluto-Chiron = oppression, racism, misogyny, class warfare, disenfranchisement, primal violence, etc.)

Now here are the two possibilities for her Sun-Moon personality combo with both Moon signs. The odds are that her Moon is in Pisces (for most of her day of birth) but I’ll give Moon in Aries as well so we may compare and contrast:

Sun Cap-Moon Pis is the scientist and poet combination, the pragmatic dreamer and compassionate realist. A tough and tender humanitarian, this combo gives dependability yet a preference for privacy, imagination, and organizing ability. There is a tendency toward worry about being engulfed by life’s problems and whether the right choices have been made.

A talent for focused concentration makes it possible to pull all the jigsaw’s pieces together in the end, however, and to penetrate deeply into the true nature of people, ideas, and events. Self-reflection can make this combo seem a bit grave and solemn at times yet it makes possible forgiveness of other people’s weaknesses and foibles.

Somehow this doesn’t sound like the Cindy I (don’t) know, but have a inkling the Sun Cap-Moon Pisces blend better describes this low profile lover who seems perfectly content with her husband’s being in the limelight.

As I’ve flitted about the interweb this morning reading world opinions on yesterday’s historic win for…gasp!…a black man, it seems America has impressed most of our fellow earth dwellers with her powers of reinvention.

Except in Pakistan. There a man was found to plop the terrorist fly smack dab into the middle of the Obama ointment because of an answer given months ago to the question of the US acting alone within Pakistani borders if the intell warranted it.

Sullied Sovereignty! It’s such a thorny question and situation since it’s not as if the billions paid to Musharraf and friends has resulted in much action against the terroists living within Pakistan’s mountainous regions. Is someone supposing the billions might be cut off if there’s an Obama in the White House?

That Obama has “threatened” Pakistan even before becoming president so he’ll be “more dangerous than Bush” seems to be a tactical view designed to help McCain in November in similar fashion to threatening bin Laden tapes being released just before US elections. Will people fall for this manipulative jingoist claptrap again?

Osama bin Laden (if indeed he had anything to do with the timing of the tape releases–lets’ ask HoSec), retained the ones he needed to justify his jihadist campaign so that America would be sure to stay in the Middle East. Does Rove have to do EVERYthing around GOP headquarters? Sheesh, give the hair-challenged fellow a rest, why doncha?

Bush’s Second Verse: McCain Refrain

Keeping the “war on terror” going will seemingly justify at least some of the Bush Doctrine and Cheney’s shotgun-1% Gang mentality while continuing to fuel the tank of the new world government coffers as they march the world toward the abyss of totalitarian regimism.

And the pleas of the American people, while hithertofore disregarded on Capitol Hill after November 2006 and disenfranchised by a secret government ruled by the secret hand, are now apparently in play with Obama’s candidacy. Tiresomely, that McCain has Karl Rove and his minions behind him to undermine our wishes once again is a political given.

The American people have always much preferred Peace and have had to be lied into war several times through the years by larger-agenda’d presidents. Will Obama toe that line as well?

How could he not with the secret backing he’ll need to move into the Oval Office? And if a landslide vote can do it for him, he’ll be in danger if he fails to buckle under the pressure to change his enitre value system on behalf of the globalist plan for world domination.

Sadly, we’ve trusted our government in the past and this is what it’s come to. Lies and dirty dealings from the GOP–with Dem Party enabling–will continue to be on OUR agenda with McCain in the White House for sure, with Obama there…maybe not so much. And can you listen to McCain drone for four years?

Yet hope really does spring eternal in the human heart. It’s finding a beating heart in Washington that’s the problem.

Will Hillary concede to Obama tonight? AP says yes, her campaign says no, she’s chillin’ at home in New York, waiting for primary results to pour in, then partyin’ in Manhattan tonight.

Hope the brew responsible for this photo (sent to me as a Heads-Up–or Down?–from Political Insultant–thanks!) won’t become her dog’s hair upon this eve of import for the presidential campaign of Hillary Clinton who must now prevail upon her fancy super friends to give her the Dem nom nod…with a plea based on Fuzzy Math, the kind politicians use when it suits and decry when it blocks their plans.

And yet…I can see how inconveniently uncool it was for this morning’s headlines to scream her concession tonight, whether true ot not…on the day that the last of the primary voters were in process of voting! Wonder who made that untimely if frisky editorial decision?
