As Hillary Clinton rallies at noon today in Washington DC, her natal IC (endings, partings, separations; The Drain) rises over the District.

Transiting Saturn, planet of limitation, inhibition, and control at 2Vir46 has just arisen as well for the ASC at noon is 5Vir22. Clinton’s natal IC = 5Vir03 in the 8:01 pm birth chart I prefer to use.

Opposite at noon, her natal MC (Aspirations; Goals) is setting with tr Neptune 24AQ13, now Rx, eventually to conjunct her MC–not a power-inspiring transit for the future because it often indicates loss or sacrifice within career.

Today’s Saturn squaring Clinton’s natal Jupiter (expansion) further indicates blockages to and restrictions in her aspirations. Her path to growth and accomplishment has been fraught with frustration and not just from Barack Obama’s well-run campaign and ability to overshadow her more traditional (Saurnian) approach.

Some problem areas for her have been rules and regulations, authority figures imposing dampers (party bosses, super delegates and others), and an endless round of dusting herself off from setbacks such as Bill’s unstable murmerings and finger shaking anger and Obama’s stellar, inspiring accomplishments–esp since Saturn = a Democrat.

Saturn’s rising at noon puts HC’s natal Jupiter 00Sag37 (“!Sag” = “A Grand Army of the Republic Campfire” degree–discuss among yourself) at tr IC indicating that Saturn’s actions of late have not been “on her side.” Saturn SQ n Jupiter is a time when we may be required to give back some of our prosperity yet it’s nearly impossible to do so. This correlates to her holding on to the delegates she’s worked so hard for in order to give herself some amount of bargaining power or clout (perfectly understandable.)

And today Mercury, the Messenger or Announcer, is having an annual conjunction with the Sun 17Gem14 Rx and 17Gem16 respectively. The G-8 Summit on Sea Island, GA in June of 2004 occurred during the historic Venus Transit at this very degree being highlighted by Sun and Mercury today…

That the Clinton Machine has long-standing links to Chinese fund raisers is well-known yet perhaps this synchronistic conj occurring on the day Clinton “concedes” to Obama may have deeper significance which may surface later for her Saturn to IC/4th house transit indicates past problems being part of the restriction she’s faced.

Also at noon in Washington today, Hillary’s natal Moon at crisis degree 29Pis12 conjuncts tr 8th house of High Finances. We know who has out-raised whom in the Dem nom campaign.
