Are Politicians snarly cats?

 

Well, of course I know that politicians are not in actuality, cats of the feline persuasion.

But don’t you think that when their hackles rise up on the House floor or dramatically in front of cameras and microphones – don’t they kind of remind you of old tomcats hissing and growling at one another trying to defend their territory? 

Maybe it’s just me. Or somebody needs a good catnap on his/her office sofa, cellphone OFF.

Anyway, Mr.A. Cat, an agent formerly in service to our nation but now retired to an undisclosed location, has phoned in a new political limerick to his contact, my boss, Lim over at Lim’s Limericks where I do the typing…because cats don’t have hands. Also my spelling is a bit better, but not by much.

Yes, it’s an unpaid position but it’s the least I can do for the mysteriously elusive Mr.A. who put himself at risk so many times on our nation’s behalf while foregoing the soft cushion in the corner by the fireplace as most kittycats would do being the creatures of comfort they are.

How often have I asked this burning question: who knew that cats could be so political? and not yet have I received a satisfactory answer from man or feline on this issue.

So the feed for Lim’s Limericks is now added at the end of the feeds list in my sidebar hereupon if you should wish to check out Mr.A.’s latest limericky growl…seems he’s concerned over our November 4th elections – and who wouldn’t be?  Can I get a Meow Meow?

Besides, everyone knows that cats have opinions of their own and obviously hold membership in the Independent Party, yes? There’s an unsubstantiated rumor going round that some political cats may even be affiliated with the Libertarian Party.

So at worst I’m guilty of allowing the political cat limericks of Lim and Mr.A.Cat to help me get through the merde of the Washington litterbox by laughing at these jokers whose mamas must’ve taught them better than they’re doing against us. Rrraorrrww-w-w!

There’s a difference between Palin and Dan Quayle

Well, it’s been hours now, and McCain’s pick of Alaska Governor Sara Palin on Friday is apparently no joke after all.

Robert J. Elisberg has written an insightful article on Sara Palin’s qualifications for national office and on John McCain’s choice of ‘The Worst Vice-Presidential Nominee in U.S. History’:

As Elisberg notes, Dan Quayle was a sitting senator when tapped. And Gov. Palin voted against polar bears and supports oil drilling in ANWR.

But fascinating as Sara Palin as VP may seem, there’s one thing I’ve always noted to myself (since nothing in politics happens by accident):

when they divert all eyes toward one direction, we should pay more attention to where they’re NOT pointing. For that may just be where the real shell game is being played.

quick notes on Sara Palin’s natal chart

Sara Heath Palin, Feb 11, 1964, Sandpoint Idaho, sunrise: 7:06:26 am PST, Moon in Capricorn and in Aquarius before day ends.

~You’ll also be aware that a birth time of ’4:40 pm’ is being used by many astrologers which gives Palin a Leo ascendant to go along with her mane of hair and attraction to being onstage.

Gov Palin’s natal Moon, at sunrise 29Cap11, is near the natal Moon of John McCain 27Cap03. although depending on her actual time of birth, natal Moon could be as late in zodiacal degrees as 8AQ08.

There are connections between her planets and those of McCain:

McCain: Sun 6Vir02 and Neptune 16Vir07; Palin: Uranus 8Vir43 and Pluto 13Vir28.

Palin’s natal Sun 21AQ55; Mars 23AQ08 are being visited by slow-moving, inspired if undermining Neptune. This is giving her a rather problematic midpoint picture and I’m not sure how it will affect her VP term if she gets it.

Because the trigger is veiling Neptune, there is some kind of masking going on with her true purpose (Sun) and action principle (Mars) which may relate to the current independent investigation of a firing of an Alaskan government employee, and what may have been personal vindictiveness on Palin’s part.

Sun/Mars = Neptune: undermining of one’s vocational position; dishonest activity; receiving notice; disappointment; feeling ‘off track’; illness; the deceived or deceptive husband.

In the case mentioned, the midpoint energy and transit may be operating in its usual ‘AC-DC’ way – from Palin, toward her, or both.

This is too quick a study for I must mosey elsewhere in a while, but looking at Palin’s Pre-Natal Eclipse Series (1 South), we see that it is the: ‘flooded with many options/ideas and their enthusiastic expression’ Series. (Brady’s ‘Predictive Astrology’) and its meaning may relate to the August 1, 2008 Solar Eclipse season we are now in because that is the Pre-Natal Eclipse Series of Senator McCain:

How relate? Both Series have to do with ‘options’ and McCain’s has a ‘worry clearing and the cosmos showing a solution with many options opening up’ flavor.

Seems Sara Palin as his VP running mate is the option to improve his prez chances!

One thing to note as well, however, is that the two Repulicans have a Nodal Axis sign ‘flip’…his North Node is in early Capricorn, hers in Cancer, which means they will either bring out the best or the worst in one another.

In transits, NN to SN is a time when associations tend to end unless they are very strong – if so, they make adjustments and become closer and more committed. If you saw the photo of them hugging today at the Dayton rally, you may agree that all seems well as of yet!

Or maybe I should say: too soon to tell, too close to call.

UPDATE 10.11.08: I want to add three natal midpoint pictures only one of which depends upon a birth time in which case I am using the unverified ’4:40 pm’ chart which gives her Pluto/Mc = NN: desire to gain leadership by force. (This picture would apply if the 4:40 pm time is correct.)

Jupiter/Neptune = Mercury: rasing hopes; inspiration; talking a lot; putting on an act; changing character.

Neptune/NN = Pluto: difficulty blending one’s personal perspectives with others.

And since yesterday’s release of the investigative report on Palin’s “Trooper-Gate” scandal and the finding that she did, in fact, abuse her office in the case, I peeked at her natal asteroids which have to do with power or the abuse of it:

Hidalgo (often prominent in a woman’s chart when in a leadership role) 18Lib52 Rx…Hidalgo ‘expects to be in charge’ and was higlighted by the Sun as the report was released; fiesty and tenacious Toro 22Sag38; and Atlantis, keywords: ‘abuse of power’ at 21Lib35 Rx, also recently highlighted by the Sun.

Hidalgo’s North Node is in the 21 – 22 Aries range which is opposing Palin’s natal Hidalgo.

Plus, you’ll be happy to know that there is a personal name asteroid for ‘Sara’ which has its North Node at 00Lib+ conjunct America’s natal Midheaven in the Sibly chart (July 4, 1776; 5:10 pm LMT: Philadelphia, PA) – good for public career matters for the governor of Alaska.

Obama win stokes world’s admiration for America

As I’ve flitted about the interweb this morning reading world opinions on yesterday’s historic win for…gasp!…a black man, it seems America has impressed most of our fellow earth dwellers with her powers of reinvention.

Except in Pakistan. There a man was found to plop the terrorist fly smack dab into the middle of the Obama ointment because of an answer given months ago to the question of the US acting alone within Pakistani borders if the intell warranted it.

Sullied Sovereignty! It’s such a thorny question and situation since it’s not as if the billions paid to Musharraf and friends has resulted in much action against the terroists living within Pakistan’s mountainous regions. Is someone supposing the billions might be cut off if there’s an Obama in the White House?

That Obama has “threatened” Pakistan even before becoming president so he’ll be “more dangerous than Bush” seems to be a tactical view designed to help McCain in November in similar fashion to threatening bin Laden tapes being released just before US elections. Will people fall for this manipulative jingoist claptrap again?

Osama bin Laden (if indeed he had anything to do with the timing of the tape releases–lets’ ask HoSec), retained the ones he needed to justify his jihadist campaign so that America would be sure to stay in the Middle East. Does Rove have to do EVERYthing around GOP headquarters? Sheesh, give the hair-challenged fellow a rest, why doncha?

Bush’s Second Verse: McCain Refrain

Keeping the “war on terror” going will seemingly justify at least some of the Bush Doctrine and Cheney’s shotgun-1% Gang mentality while continuing to fuel the tank of the new world government coffers as they march the world toward the abyss of totalitarian regimism.

And the pleas of the American people, while hithertofore disregarded on Capitol Hill after November 2006 and disenfranchised by a secret government ruled by the secret hand, are now apparently in play with Obama’s candidacy. Tiresomely, that McCain has Karl Rove and his minions behind him to undermine our wishes once again is a political given.

The American people have always much preferred Peace and have had to be lied into war several times through the years by larger-agenda’d presidents. Will Obama toe that line as well?

How could he not with the secret backing he’ll need to move into the Oval Office? And if a landslide vote can do it for him, he’ll be in danger if he fails to buckle under the pressure to change his enitre value system on behalf of the globalist plan for world domination.

Sadly, we’ve trusted our government in the past and this is what it’s come to. Lies and dirty dealings from the GOP–with Dem Party enabling–will continue to be on OUR agenda with McCain in the White House for sure, with Obama there…maybe not so much. And can you listen to McCain drone for four years?

Yet hope really does spring eternal in the human heart. It’s finding a beating heart in Washington that’s the problem.

Bush faults Congress for US fuel and food woes

Two things–one is Bush’s second press conference of the year from a White House garden this morning in which he performed his usual “it’s Congress, not me” routine in a very–may I say it–testy way as fighting Mars (now in bounds of the earthly plane and giving back under provocation) was rising 24Can36. 

Stung by criticism, Leo the Lion did roar from the White House this morning but with a pesky Lame Duck quacking from behind the podium.

Today’s Sun Taurus/Moon Aquarius blend is worth considering for its tencious and proud qualities, and for two quotes from men who share this blend natally:

Well, it’s true that the Force of secret government and the syndicate are with Bush, otherwise he wouldn’t have been able to infest the Oval Office lo these many years (so for their purposes, he must be doing something right), and it’s apparent that America’s friends are getting fewer by the minute since Dubya took over.

Bush said that “it’s the isms that bother me–isolationism and protectism” yet he gave ‘corporatism,’ ‘fascism’ and ‘totalitarianism’ free passes on his botheration list.  He always does, of course, even with his natal Ascendant at the “A Bolshevik Propagandist” degree (8Leo)–and with the definition of fascism being a blending of state + corporate power. 

Goes to prove the old adage that what someone says they are is probably exactly what they aren’t, esp in Politics. Trustworthy men don’t have to resort to “trust me” assurances.

Besides, we wouldn’t want America to gain protection for the few jobs we have left, now would we? Not after so much has been done by our “representatives” to undermine our economy and to tear our social fabric into shreds.

Yes, the Amercian people can rightfully blame Congress and corporations for it all–in part. But the buck stops, Mr. Bush–it stops with your name on it. You ignored America’s growing problems for so long, methinks you revel in them now, you NWO promoter, you!

Feline Whereabouts Update: Mr.A.Cat, the original inspiration, bard, and muse of Lim’s Limericks, is still overseas on a tres secret mission. His imminent date of return is currently unknown, but you can still check out Lim’s political rhymeries written in honor of Mr.A.Cat, an agent formerly in service to our nation.

Where may he be? I don’t know and Lim won’t say. Waterboards won’t work on such a stalwart fellow as Lim–he’s seen it all before and has had excellent training, the rumor goes.

In fact, I’ve never laid eyes on the elusive Mr.A. and I confess with nary a prod: I don’t even know what the “A” stands for!

Years back our family lived with a beautful Turkish Van, aka the “swimming cat”–now there’s a fellow who would’ve been immune to waterboarding.
