Click to enlarge chart and you’ll see the Sun 2Tau40 rising, Venus 19Ari59 oriental (last to rise before the Sun), Mercury 9Tau41 with Hygeia (’health’) and Bacchus (’denial; ecstasy; addiction; substitution’) along for the ride.

Chart-ruler Venus makes two applying aspects which whispers how things will proceed for the day and these aspects are actually part of a T-square pattern between the Mars 20Can57–Jupiter 21Cap55 opposition, so we have Venus as apex planet in a Cardinal T-square (highlighted in blue.)

Let’s see what Bil Tierney, in his excellent ‘Dynamics of Aspect Analysis’ says about such an apex Venus for an apex planet directs the energies of the configuration (and bear in mind we’re talking about politicians):

this Venus is the opportunist who may push too hard to gain support, approval, and acceptance; quick commitments may be made and unions entered which may be regretted later; arguments may issue from inconsiderate actions. ~

Venus oriental indicates one who must put a personal stamp on things in the work environment and  who works with money or expensive items such as metals (Venus = copper), jewelry, national treasures, etc. Evaluation of one’s work is a welcome substitute for direct evaluation of one’s person–the public image takes the place of the private persona. Since planets may be seen as actors, I believe Venus signifies most closely Hillary Clinton, Mars conj Apollo (’the hero’) at the Foundation of the chart–and the tail in a Kite pattern–is Barack Obama, and Jupiter (Rs; rich men) is, on some level, John McCain. Both McCain and Obama are squaring or blocking Hillary in this chart.

Mars/Jupiter = Venus: success. Will today’s primary success be blocked for Lady Venus?

In spite of the current kerfluffle about Obama’s comments on the bitterness of Pennsylvanians, Clinton’s success seems out of reach unless a major flap can be created or uncovered concerning Obama. Without trying, I am constantly reminded online about his supposed drug-use secrets yet to be fully revealed.

Yet Senator Clinton has many shady things in her past as well–who doesn’t? However, she might consider refraining from calling any pots black. During today’s political shows, we were treated to elitist pots ganging up on the condescending kettle while out-of-touch pundits opened yet another can of caviar.

Puh! Sassy words from the employed and overpaid–but their sass didn’t bring a single job to Pennsylvania, did it?

You know that all this IS the point and it’s worked perfectly–divide and conquer the electorate so the ruling elite can proceed with their one world government plans and keep the reins of control in their claws, rather than in our in paws. 

Con vs Lib, R vs D…it’d be great of The People would quit falling for the ‘two-party’ scam and go off-script for some real change. Will the upcoming Saturn/Uranus opposition bring change to our creaky old system–old vs new? Probably, but it’ll be a brittle break if it happens.

Well, another thing to consider is that April 22 is Hillary’s “unbirthday”–when the Sun opposes natal position at birth–2Tau+ is opposite her natal 2Sco+ Sun. This is a time when one’s should reevaluate one’s direction and measure one’s progress or lack of it. Arrogance and aggression, which would at other times cause an opponent to back down, won’t work now, and winning in an ego-related situation is not favored (Sun = ego.)

One such indication doesn’t tell the full tale, of course, but Sun-opposite-Sun is a pretty squeally pig to put lipstick upon–Clinton will try, but good luck to her.

Only backing-from-on-high may help her now, especially with tr Saturn hanging out at her natal Ic, the 4th house cusp. Saturn to 4th house is when circumstances force a new direction but there’s no guarantee that it’s the one wanted. Acceptance of one’s background is a must but past mistakes may interfere.

Saturn conjuncted Clinton’s natal Ic 5Vir23 on or about Oct 20, 2007, Feb 21/22, 2008, and will again on July 10/11 upcoming–based in the most-often used birth time of 8:00 pm CST, Chicago, Il, Oct 26, 1947.)

Yet she will gain a rush of new energy during the first week of June–her Mars Return, a two-year cycle of new activities and directions.

However, by the end of May, tr South Node, a separative point, begins a series of conjunctions to her natal line-up in Leo…Saturn 21Leo21 (appr June 1), Pluto 14Leo51 (appr Oct 29), and Mars 14Leo16 (appr Nov 1, 2008.)  This triple conj is always difficult when being triggered and these contacts may indicate losses in relationships negatively–positively, perhaps relationships from her past come to light or are rejuvenated (for the short term.)

With transit Pluto (the dragon guarding the riches) conj her natal Descendant (partnerships) I believe her only hope is with the super delegates as directed by the powers-behind-the-throne. Pluto to Desc is Pluto opposite ASC and has an “all or nothing at all” flavor with gaining greater personal power the aim. Plus, a partner may experience a traumatic event during Pluto to Desc.

Manipulation of partnerships leads to using and being used so that one’s power may be increased if other factors don’t interfere (like endorsements you assumed to be yours going to others.)

Barack Obama is a different story for success seems part of his picture for the day.

Not only is heroic asteroid Apollo conjunct Mars at the base of the sunrise chart–and both are the tail of the Kite pattern flying high (you see the Kite marked in pink)–but as mentioned before, jolly Jupiter is approaching natal Saturn, a time when burdens may be eased and one’s hard work and planning are rewarded.

Plus, Jan 9, 2009 is Obama’s Jupiter Return, and the Inauguration 2009 chart shows Sun and Mercury Rx conjunct his natal Jupiter 00AQ+.

And unless McCain takes November’s ‘cakewalk’ bwo fearmongering and emotional appeals due to his POW status (and if bin Laden isn’t rolled out for another video to keep Rs in control), Obama is on a fast track to the Oval Office. Yet his path won’t be smooth as the Unmasking Eclipse season we’re now in continues to add to the pundits’ glee and to the list of scandals sprouting out of Washington politicians who infest our nation’s capital.

Rush Limbaugh’s “Operation Chaos” may continue taking its toll on the Dem Party, too. Why, it’s almost as if the Ds want to lose! Can they be that gullible?

And that’s still very good advice.

Now if we could only clear out all the crooks, varmints, and vermin…okay, you’re right–then Washington would be a ghost town.
