Where would modern day detective shows be without cell phones to track and call records to check as part of their investigations? And like bread crumbs in a forest, anyone would want to leave such a tech trail if it meant being found when purloined or otherwise in trouble.

Interesting story: turns out that Apple iPhones provide authorities with even more information about their owners than your average cell phones can – and more than we know.
