Amongst the hub’n'bub of festive preparation, in the midst of a couple of decoy weddings (as noted by CBS this morning), Rhinebeck, NY will celebrate an illustrious wedding this evening, that of former first-daughter Chelsea Clinton to longtime beau and investment banker, Marc Mezvinsky.

At the moment, this Georgia blogger is nowhere near the nuptials in upstate New York yet from afar I am preparing a small celebration myself bwo a Wedding Day Astrology Report for the happy couple.

Their nuptials are being deemd a ‘royal wedding’ which actually fulfills the prediction from the January 15, 2010 Solar Eclipse of a ‘Ceremony Fit for a King’ (said Celeste Teal in her book Eclipses) even though we’ve moved on to the Solar Eclipse of July 11, 2010, the eclipse season we’re now in.

This may be an example of Solar Eclipses retaining their influence well past the next Solar Eclipse date for some are stronger than others, as we know.

Sharron Angle came out all sparkly and sassy against incumbent Democratic Senator Harry Reid but a series of gaffes and bad ideas have caused Angle’s lead to dwindle.

Don’t know about you but abolishing the Social Security Administration seems one of the dafter ideas I’ve heard in this difficult economic climate especially since it’s worked so well for decades. But I guess Mr. Reagan would sit up and applaud in his grave if the coldhearted among us ever manage to collapse it (and they’ve been working on it and other programs assiduously, I know.)

So for Angle will falling poll numbers represent a ‘roller coaster’ ride of a senatorial campaign – or shades of a Reid victory to come?

Someone on the BBC News World Service just attempted to minimize the effects of the release of over 91,000 reports on events in Afghanistan by saying the massive document leak is a “treaure trove for historians” but that the picture shown by the reports is not “very different” from what is already known.

July 25′s Full Moon has brought the release by WikiLeak’s Julian Assange (on July 25) of revelations of a lot of formerly hidden information on what the US occupation is really like, and something tells me that at least some of the intell in these documents may be quite okay for ‘leaking’ as far as the White House (and perhaps the Pentagon brass?) is concerned for it lets a very expensive cat out of a limpingly bankrupt bag.

And you know that if you want info to go public in the biggest way possible, debut it a few hours before the light of a Full Moon!

Now the White House has condemned the leak and predictably cites ‘national security’…but what stands out to me is the assertion that soldiers’ lives are put at risk by the leak of documents.

AS IF sending our troops into an insurgent war based on trumped up intell hasn’t done precisely that already thousands of times over – and lied about it!!!

Plus, this leak of US military documents may lend new meaning to today’s (July 26, 2010) Saturn/Uranus opposition with governmental Saturn’s status quo needs vs Uranus’ urge for progress, independence, and freedom of information.

Just wanted to be certain you caught the one about Goldman Sachs’ disclosure of the list of financial recipients from when Goldman paid off its overseas bets using US taxpayer monies under the label “bailout.”

As many have said before me, their fancy financial transactions should have resulted in jailouts, not a bailouts.

So Goldman Sachs was paid twice, minimum.

Meanwhile, we got rooked by banking racketeers which in turn made their hugely obscene bonuses possible. What accounts for their huge, ballooning noggins – like astronauts’ swollen heads in space – only the god of hubris can tell.

But why should he spill the beans?

For as shipping and railroad magnate Cornelius Vanderbilt was fond of saying, “What do I care about the law? Hain’t I got the power?”

The German town of Riesa is one of the battlegrounds where Neo-Nazis are taking hold, publishing hate rhetoric, and infiltrating youth groups.

Similar to the polarity here in America where the people are kept divided by false perceptions and cynical political tactics (Ds v Rs, liberals v conservatives), the population of the town of Riesa is divided on the issue: to Neo-Nazi or not to Neo-Nazi.

To me it’s always seemed a no-brainer, an easy decision. But then a group of humorless, hair-challenged boot wearers were never my cup of tea – even when they sassily appeared in the New Millennium on Capitol Hill, goose-stepping to the Bush-Cheney drum beat of war.

And you see where that pied-piperism has gotten us.

This may not seem very newsworthy to most people, but I thought you might be interested in a report that Russian spy Anna Chapman (snagged by the FBI on the day of the June 26, 2010 Lunar Eclipse conjunct spying Pluto; Moon = a woman; publicity) has received a porn deal offer of some kind.

As you know, wealthy Pluto’s realm includes spying and surveillance – but also sex and porn!

Woof! My daughter Maya’s handspun and hand-dyed fiberista work has expanded into a new location for her Springtree Road Yarn Shop.

Now bigger isn’t always better but in this case, check it out, especially tomorrow when Maya is promising 17 new skeins of Merino and other luscious fibers which she winds into ‘skein patties’ for your special knitting and crocheting projects (unless you direct her otherwise.)

Therefore, I’m waiting to see if she manages to get so many photos of so many new skeins published in her Shop by Thursday’s end.

And no, I wouldn’t dare bet against my Maya!
