Plume shown in cam not only massive oil leak
Turns out there’s another massive oil leak about 5 or 6 miles from the one we’ve watched on BP’s plume cam.

Hi Carl, thanks for commenting.
To me the cam and other media coverage seems more than a little 9/11-ish with the constant repetition on CNN, etc – as if to sear the image of the plumes into our consciousness.
And yes, i noticed some color differences in the plumes, too, but don’t know more about other leaks/plumes than what is in the article i linked to on Washington’s Blog (formerly known as, George Washington’s Blog.)
Back in town now so i hope to follow up as This Week In Oil plumes on…. Jude

Originally, we were a watching a mix of oil, gas and mud rush out of that portion of the broken BP riser as BP began is “top kill” plan. The riser originally being monitored in the live feed was located at the top of the blowout preventer (BOP) or somewhere on the riser located on the ocean floor. The stuff originally seen had a distinct rust color to it. Now, we are monitoring some black-colored plume. Where is this located? What we are now seeing is obviously not what was been originally videoed and shown to the to the world by BP earlier this week. So, where is this plume coming from and where it is located on the ocean floor?
Now, in an earlier post, you said another plume system had been located some 5-6 miles distanct. Is that plume distinct from what we are seeing today, Saturday, May 29?
