Winter Solstice 2009: Sun Cap-Moon AQ
On Dec 21, 2009 at 12:46:35 pm est in Washington DC, we reach the time of year of the Winter Solstice (Sun 00Cap00:00), the shortest day of the year.
The Sun will rise with Fixed Star Altair, the Alpha Star of Aquila, The Eagle; keywords: boldness, courage, dogged determination, and risk-taking, but anyone influenced by Altair may be guilty of bloodshed. (Robson.)
Considering the further trek America is about to take down the war path in Afghanistan, perhaps a link to violence is to be expected.
Besides the Solstice, Dec 21, 2009 happens to be the day of a US Moon Return (Sibly Moon 27AQ10) with the astrological Moon in a mundane chart representing the people, the public, the masses. Our nation’s Lunar Return occurs a mere ten minutes after the Winter Solstice becomes exact!
Dec 21 is also the day of the third and final Great Conjunction of the speculator pair, Jupiter and Neptune, occurring upon the US Sibly Moon – quite a celestial pile-up of synchronicity for the American people which indicates the importance of this particular Winter Solstice.

Whether you think he’s done much yet to deserve it or not, the president receives a ‘prize’ of ‘significance’ although the ceremony occurs 11 days before the Winter Solstice we’re considering here.
But as you know in Astrology, sometimes things happen ‘early’ and it’s possible that other significant prizes are on the Universe’s menu as well…

Well, realistically that’s about as ‘sweet and light’ as I can get with the Winter Solstice 2009 chart with its subsequent sway over US and world events. (Guess I hang out with Politics too often and long.)
