Foreign tax haven nix only a bargaining chip?

It will be a campaign promise by the wayside if Pres. Obama gives up his idea to nix wealthy corporations’ foreign tax havens. But is his touted attack on the skanky tax dodgers a mere bargaining chip in the health care reform political chess game?

Robert Reich thinks it may turn out to be so.

Seems to me it’s another ‘do the right thing’ campaign promise that turns out to be a mere campaign promise designed to hoodwink the masses into voting a certain way – especially if passage of a decent-for-the-people health care reform bill goes ahead but fails anyway.
