G20 to give a trillion to IMF

It’s noon edt, April 2, 2009, and NPR is reporting that, according to UK PM Gordon Brown, one trillion dollars (or so) will be given to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to help out…well, someone, maybe not you and me. But someone.

Yes, I’m tres suspicious of this action but you knew I would be, didn’t you? Aren’t you?

Pres. Obama will give a statement later today on how the G20 Summit is steamrolling along.

NYSE at Noon: DOW up 250 pts, Nasdaq up about 60 pts.

Michael Moore on Wagoner’s firing

Since filmmaker Michael Moore’s father was a long-time GM employee and because Moore has a history dogging GM excesses, lack of transparency, and its sorry treatment of its employees, I thought I’d check out what Mr. Moore has to say about GM exec Rick Wagoner’s recent firing by the president of the United States:
