Feline Whereabouts Update: Mr.A.Cat, the original inspiration, bard, and muse of Lim’s Limericks, is still overseas on a tres secret mission. His imminent date of return is currently unknown, but you can still check out Lim’s political rhymeries written in honor of Mr.A.Cat, an agent formerly in service to our nation.

Where may he be? I don’t know and Lim won’t say. Waterboards won’t work on such a stalwart fellow as Lim–he’s seen it all before and has had excellent training, the rumor goes.

In fact, I’ve never laid eyes on the elusive Mr.A. and I confess with nary a prod: I don’t even know what the “A” stands for!

Years back our family lived with a beautful Turkish Van, aka the “swimming cat”–now there’s a fellow who would’ve been immune to waterboarding.

Canadian Embassy: Report On Obama and NAFTA Is False By Greg Sargent 28 Feb 2008 Roy Norton, the minister of public affairs for the Canadian embassy, is flatly denying that any Obama campaign official spoke to the Canadian ambassador in recent days or told him that Obama’s anti-NAFTA stump speech is merely “campaign rhetoric.” “No, none,” Norton told me when I asked him if Michael Wilson, Canada’s ambassador to the U.S., had spoken to any Obama advisers recently. He added: “Neither before the Ohio debate nor since has any presidential campaign called Ambassador Wilson about NAFTA.”

Obama staffer gave warning of NAFTA rhetoric 27 Feb 2008: Barack Obama has ratcheted up his attacks on NAFTA, but a senior member of his campaign team told a Canadian official not to take his criticisms seriously, CTV News has learned. Within the last month, a top staff member for Obama’s campaign telephoned Michael Wilson, Canada’s ambassador to the United States, and warned him that Obama would speak out against NAFTA, according to Canadian sources. The staff member reassured Wilson that the criticisms would only be campaign rhetoric, and should not be taken at face value. #

Just think–when he performs two more, it’ll be the 43rd from the 43rd. And yes, Bush 41 was mentioned in a question this morning as: are you concerned that a sagging economy will defeat John McCain like it defeated your father in 1992?

Pretty good question but, as you may expect, no direct answer was given. As William F. Buckley, who passed away yesterday, age 82, said on Fresh Air in 1989 (it’s on my radio as I type), politicians answer questions based on self-protection–to avoid being embarrassed. ~

That’s why they take classes on how to non-answer by framing questions within their own perspectives in order to promote what they want you to know and avoid admitting inconvenient truths. Actually these days it’s more to avoid being indicted!

And the bully pulpit of the president is the best place to perpetrate constant disinformation, of course. Today the Sun and Moon are in the Disseminating phase–264+ degrees when he began speaking at 10:05 am est–which is a period of communicating perspectives and passing on the info.

Yes, George Orwell would approve of their practiced methods, but in horror. Orwell was born during the Balsamic phase of the Moon, you know–the prophetic phase.
